I posted a rumour a few weeks back about us looking at Arnau Martinez from Girona. He's just signed for Valencia for 5 million Euro's he's one of the best young right backs in Spain and been close to call ups for the national team, less than half his release clause yet Girona are holding our feet to the fire for every penny of the release clause for Min-su.
We should have been all over that sort of signing and he's only on 18k a week now it seems.

Here's hoping Kosta is even better and a million cheaper.

Again, It's not really the point. Every other club is paying peanuts for better players, and our inept negotiating team just pays full on everything. Ajax just signed Tsygankov for 4 million euros, a quarter of his value.
That's Girona sold their 2 best players for a total 9 million euros, and sold one unestablished winger to us for 10 million euros. We are run by complete fools.

Big Jorgi, it's trying to convince half these guys to come to Scotland. That's the problem, mate.

Why don't you apply for the job, sounds like you would fit in perfectly.

Exactly bb4.

The difference is big.
Jorgi, the players they are selling for below their value are on huge wages that they need to get rid of, as they have been relegated, whereas Minsu was a young player on low wages with high potential, they didn't want to sell as they wanted to keep him.
Whether we like it or not Ajax is a far bigger attraction to players in Europe than Rangers is. So, either way, break our wage structure to get these players to come, or we go for younger players with more potential. I know what I'd rather.

Aye, maybe the club tried. 18k and 30k Euros wages are reported. Most our players are on that sort wage. I shudder to think what we are giving Shankland and Devlin. It's not signing Min-su Kim that's the issue, it's the fee paid in comparison to what they got for their best players.
