Talking about defenders, I, like many other bears, have been very impressed with our South African centre half we signed from Philadelphia Union, Makhanya. 👌 He looks so very assured and athletic and is very calm and collective.
👍 He always seems to get his position spot on and has very good awareness with very good positional sense. 👍 Already looks a very good signing. 🤔 🇬🇧

I really like the look of Makhanya as you've gathered gyldne gut, but to answer your question pal, I hand on heart think if big Manny Fernandez gets the attitude sorted and cuts out thinking the game is too easy with his laid back, easy ozy approach, I think he'll have the better career mate.

I think one will be a staunch defender, a rock at the back, while the other will eventually blossom into a refined player, a director from the back four. Different paths for two different types, and I hope they both go far in the game.
