Hindsight is a great thing but I'm happier with how our team looks now. They just need time to gel and develop together.

When you put the two teams side by side like that it really does show how much has changed in 12 months.
I don't think we can say yet that every player in today's side is better, but I definitely prefer the profile of the squad now. It looks younger, quicker and much more athletic, and hopefully there's a bit of development and resale value in a few of them as well.
Last year's team always felt a bit like a collection of players rather than a proper Rangers side. If McInnes can get this group settled and add another couple of quality attacking players before the window closes, I think we'll be in a much better place.
Patience is the big thing now. Eleven new signings aren't going to become a settled team overnight.

You're a guy that clearly knows his onions. Is he (and his team) tactically astute, and able to pick up on, and articulate to, players how to correct many of the positional errors that have been characteristic of even our better players?

Yeah, we got Europa League with Martin and May, at best get Conference League with the wonder manager, McInnes.

And, it shows we have a whole new starting 11 and manager, so we wonder why it takes time to bed in and players get used to one another.

Hopefully this time next year 8 or 9 of the players are the same and we have a couple more of real quality in.
