How many of our signings do you think are ones requested by DM? We had been linked with penrice, well before DM. Also if our club are doing their due diligence, players should be scouted months in advance, with a few exceptions, ie someone that has worked with the manager previously. So surely the majority are down to the recruitment team?

Does it matter? He has agreed to them all.

Exactly, do you think they are just flooding the place with players he has no input in? They are all in it together.

Only asking a question, mate, why you always so abrupt? I mean, does anything really matter that anyone asks ie what the team will be. No put it brings conversation.

Out of choice or lack of options offered, Storm, I'm beginning to wonder. And, getting to the point of accepting anything put before him to be able to work with.

18rox, if someone doesn't want McInnes and is using every stick to beat him with.
So, as far as I know, from reading about it and what has been said by those who actually know on here, the recruitment team will be keeping an eye on a good number of players over a period of time.
That part is done by Purdy and Thelwell, I think. The manager will let them know which positions he feels need filled and what characteristics those players will need to fit a style of play etc. Recruitment team then look through players we are keeping an eye on, and perhaps look for others who fit the bill; so, if manager has just arrived, he may give them names to look at.
Then, manager will be given a list of players who he can say yes or no to. I imagine, if he doesn't like any, then they would relook at others they have watched and kept data on.
Then the process moves to Stig, probably to negotiate the deal with the (hopefully) selling club.
Probably not got it 100% right, but that is my understanding anyway.

McCrorie and Devlin definitely anyway. And at the minute McCrorie looks the worst signing of them all.

He's also made a huge error with Shankland captain and Dan Neil vice.

Why are the Manager's choices of Captain and Vice Captain wrong? I'm keen to understand the thought process behind this. Both individuals obviously display qualities of a leader on and off the park. Both have previously captained other fairly big clubs. Just because a player is yet to find their form, it doesn't mean they don't possess the Vision, Integrity, Inspiration or Communication skills to lead the team.
I don't believe we have any other individuals up to the task at the moment, especially players we can guarantee will be here when the window closes.

Devlin.

Devlin is an impact player. I'm sure he shows leadership qualities off the park, on the park, he's too temperamental.

You seem to have a problem with my answer. The manager has agreed to all the signings, that's all I said. 😂 That's why it doesn't matter, he agreed to them.
Kasier, he said no, apparently, to two out of contract players, so he can say no, mate.
