I wouldn't be spending EUR10m on anyone from MLS after the fiasco with Cifuentes and Sands and few others, I think.
Do like look of Makhanya though, but for that price I'd rather spend it in Europe.

Stevie, would you spend 10 million on a player from Denmark? As we got Dio there, and he never pulled up trees, you can't not buy someone from a certain country just because a player failed at your club. We wouldn't be able to buy from most countries these days.

I've seen Kelsy play over here a few times, and obviously every signing has risk, but he's looked good when I've seen him. Good at holding the ball up and very good in the air. Sneaky fast as well.

Storm, I take your point, well, mate.
Just the similarities Cifu putting me off, mate. Both South American. Play in MLS. Both were highly rated and right now $10m is a lot of money for us.
I would rather get a loan in, mate, but it's just my personal preference.

I wouldn't let a couple other players from there stop me, and, as you say, Makhanya has shown up well.

We might think that around £6/7 million pounds is a lot. For our club, it is. But any signings at that price point get an average player or, hopefully, unearths a talent that we can enjoy then sell for a profit. We don't have a settled team, so any new signings will find it difficult. If we get 10 players around that £3-10m mark, then we will do well to find 3 quality players there. 4 or 5 should do ok, and be sold on for what we paid.
2 or 3 will not be what we want and will need moved on. Where we have got it wrong is in not moving players on quickly, and therefore not bringing in money. Eg. Cortes, Hagi, Davies, Dowell. But land, Antman, and Dio deals suggest this may be changing. I still feel we are hamstrung by last year's dealings, meaning we needed numbers in just to make up a squad.

the guy says in his post that he doesn't have a clue what the transfer fee will be. even that a significant amount is expected; as in they have no clue what it will be. suddenly the 10M euros is believed. this site is called Rangers rumours. does anyone on it actually understand what a rumour is. just a hint it isn't fact 😉.
