I really like Penrice.
He has a great engine and has a left peg similar to that of Barasic.
He also takes very good corners.

Rumours page now saying Penrice probably won't be coming after AEK increased fee. Would have preferred him.

I don't understand the obsession with Penrice.
Meghoma is 20, loads of improvement can be made. Penrice is 27 and probably peaked. Yes, it's for a back up, but I don't see it.

Superalloy, that improvement is for Brentford though not us.
Meghoma isn't that good a player tbh, Penrice will give u better numbers in the season.
Livi, I'd rather that if it was an option, but believe. Would cost EUR6m minimum for Doig.

Superally, James Penrice in football terms has still got his 4 year peak years in front of him. 🤔
Peak years in football terms is between 28-32 years old. 🤔 We need signings that can go right into our starting 11 now, mate, and James Penrice for me can absolutely do that because like I've said all along imo there's nothing between Penrice and Rommens. In fact, Penrice is not as injury prone.
🤔 I'm not saying Jaydon Meghoma will not be a good left back once he gets consistency in his game as he gets older, and the young man has shown in a few games for us, he's a good left back who'll improve further, but for the here and now it's James Penrice, hands down for me and we should have signed him a good few years ago imo. 🤔 🇬🇧
