Some already telling us McInnes needs time.
He was brought in for the exact opposite of that.
He was going to hit the ground running because:-
SPFL Experienced.
Rangers Minded.
He apparently gets it.
Knows the fans expectations - said so himself in his first press conference after he got the job.
Is McInnes problem that at clubs like Aberdeen, Killie and Hearts he's had a core group of players that he trusted on a weekly basis?
And that the Rangers squad is bloated? And he hasn't worked out who he can rely on a weekly basis?
I would be playing the following:-
Pandur.

Sterling Makhanya Godfrey ( when fit, Fernandez in the meantime ) Rommens.
Devlin Raskin ( Dragovevic if Raskin is sold ).
Shankland.
Yokota Naderi ( most prefer Chermiti ) Curtis.
It's then up to others to force their way into the starting line up by showing us what they are made off when giving the opportunity during matches.

PH, it's always going to take time with the turnover of players, change in tactics, formation, mindset, approach, build up to game, training sessions, instructions, it's always going to take time, mate.

Sir Alex took time, so I'm sure we grant McCinnes some.

I didn't want McInnes as manager, I must admit that, but watching our first two games, what has surprised me are the team selections and tactics. I thought we would set up to be organised at the back and hard to break down, but we've been the opposite. At Tannadice he played Diomande as one of the two central midfielders, and he doesn't have the discipline to do that, and left huge spaces for Devlin to try to cover, especially as the other midfielder was Aasgaard, who does no defensive work.

Last night, none of the three central midfielders played in the holding role, and even when Devlin came on he was getting too far forward. We should have lost another two goals on the counter last night, which would have killed the tie, but we still didn't tighten up. I would also love to know why he played the central defenders the wrong way round last night and what Souttar has done to be completely frozen out the squad, especially in view of Raskin playing and being captain last night when he came on.

Wsl, I agree his formations and selections are very questionable.

It doesn't always take time though, United had just as many of a turnover, Stevie, and they drew with us and probably should have won the game.

That's fair to say, Storm.

We're going to just need to stick with it, mate, and hope it turns around. It's not a quick fix.
