Right guys n girls, I posted my first post after the shocking Tannadice game I said about Godfrey having an acl injury and said I would apologise if wrong. well this is it sorry I was accused of being from the manky mob as it was my first post I genuinely have hospitality bat Ibrox and the guy who told me and two others has been 100% correct in everything else they have said. turns out they were told by a medic at Tannadice they won't tell us anything again unless horses mouth.

My Souness post was a one year get in kick arse show them what we need. He's younger than Martin O'Neill, who has ran us ragged last year, was at Edmonton House a couple of months ago Souness, Ferguson and Durrant, they all eat sleep and breathe Rangers, and yes Souness is getting older but he has a presence and, with a younger in touch assistant, may just shake us up enough. The old board failed to back Gerrard, who I loved but should have had a treble, and got three years to build.
This can't keep going on. I feel McInnes, with backing, could do it, but as was said today we need footballer's involved in picking players not folk looking at stats. We all have opinions and they will differ, but this s.t can't keep going on thers guys in their 20s who have seen next to nothing watp.

Poppy, welcome. Talking about getting to games in the past, I can remember going when little motorway & having to go by Aleandria Parade.
Not as many cars in those days, right enough.
So, been through all good & bad times, club seems to have lost some of its identity over time.
Gone are days when we were attractive proposition to players. But surely, with what budgets we have, we should at least be able to compete in Scotland & at least make group stages of European competitions.

Souness is spot on, we've wasted £15m on 2 strikers that couldn't hit an open net if they tried. We've got X players from all over the world, why not get them working for us.

Jibjo Chermiti scored 15 goals last season after Rohl took over, so I'd say he can definitely hit a barn door.
Does anyone remember we had an ex player in the dugout right now? We had an ex player in Ferguson replace Clement & made us worse. Gerrard & Martin are ex players & signed rubbish too. Being an ex player doesn't mean you'll be anywhere near a good manager or how to pick a player.
The reason for our decline is we have a next manager with a new coaching team every couple of months, not a single one since Gerrard has seen out a season from beginning to end & only have 1 window to build a team, we still have players from Beale at the club.
Can't build a team capable of winning things in a single window unless other teams fall off & have a disaster of a season. Btw Gerrard was backed plenty & left for the Premier League, nothing to do with not getting backed like he said.

Big difference between Muscat and Souness is that Souness was a dinosaur by 2005. O'Neill was still honing his craft then and never really had a bad spell until Forrest; he has had a taste of modern football. If I'm being brutally honest as well, O'Neill is the better manager of the 2.
If we were going down the know-the-club older head route, Big Eck would've probably been your man, but again he fell off a cliff after all the good he did at Birmingham City. IMO Smith's the only better manager in Scotland of the past 30 / 40 years over O'Neill.
