If we going to sign wingers ( definitely need 'em ), then I hope they are encouraged to stay on their wings, instead of this cutting inside into trouble nonsense!

When you play right footed wingers on the left and wonder why they cut inside.

Nonsense? The best wingers in the world cut in well, from memory Robben, Salah, Messi, Ronaldo, when he played there, even with us Kent and Cerny were wingers who cut in. Byline wingers do still exist, but what's the point if we don't overhaul the box or play to their strengths. Antman was a byline winger, we didn't utilise his strength.

It would be good if we had any at all, let alone worry what foot they use. Many are good at doing both cutting in and going outside, so it would be good to have options rather than being predictable.

Sam, Antman never hit byline on regular basis and had one original good game where he did try that, and agreed any good winger should mix it up and know when to hit byline or cut in, as cutbacks from bylines imo are ideal to catch defenders out.
Just we don't have anyone with that real skillset at the moment anyway. We just seem too scared to take a man on and commit defenders in the box which should be a key priority.

And to add the £15m for 2 project strikers as probably some of the worst money spent. Yes, big Chermiti chips in with a worldy goal but isn't what we require, or Naderi, who runs about like a headless chicken most times. We need a poacher up alongside Shankland.

Imagine wingers who played on their natural side, left on the left, right on the right. Better crosses, easier cutbacks. 🤯 In the markets we shop for players there is no Messi or Robben to cut in and score, there is however a cheap version who might score a few goals each season that way at the maximum.
We need to get to the byline and cut it back, wingers, it's what we've mostly always had and what works in Scotland.

Blue Floyd, that was Antman's game, and we didn't utilise it.
Mustcatin, pretty much every single modern winger plays the opposite side of their strong foot to cut in. It's certainly not stupid, we just don't sign good enough players, or we absolutely demolish any confidence they have. As I mentioned, our 2 last successful wingers cut in.

Hagi wasn't even a winger, but did a good job playing there on the right under Gerard and left under Clement.

There have been decent wingers in our own league but everyone sticks their noses up at.
Also, it will be the manager's request that his wingers cut inside rather than go to the byline.
Not to mention, we rarely have bodies in the bod to attack crosses anyways.
