Maswanhise mentioned on here quite a bit especially of late and i think would be a good signing for us tbh 🤔 He's rapid, can go past opponents with his explosive pace and his numbers are good in the finishing stakes and with assists, so it's exactly that type of player we're looking for 🤔I honestly don't know what his best position is ie.a right winger, a left winger or a centre forward tbh, but i believe he with his ability and style could play for us as a right winger 🤔 Wouldn't be a bad shout imo 🤔🇬🇧 What do others reckon is his best position 🤔

He should have been our first signing along with another rw and a lw. We seem to do everything backwards.

I would go and sign him and Cerny and be done with it. Approx £10-12mill probably gets both, both proven in the league. One an experienced pro, one with a lot of room still to improve.

Do we honestly think that our club and recruitment team aren't aware of an attacking player who performed well in our league, performed well against us and made an impact with his national side last season?
I get it was disappointing to drop points on Friday, but absolutely many posters seem to think that we can just sign whoever we want - unfortunately that's not the case.

One season wonder. And was poor the last 10 or so games also.

Definitely Maswanhise! Predominantly right footed but can play/shoot with both comfortably. Motherwell signed him to be a RW, but soon found out he can play anywhere across the front. My Motherwell mate loves him. 😅 Been reported they want 4mil, but would take 3.5mil.
Bit surprised he hasn't already signed for anybody else to be honest. Would also take a punt on Motherwell's LB Longelo. Can also play LM and LW. Another player my Motherwell mate speaks of very highly. Both players can play multiple positions but are quality in their main ones.

My understanding was Cerny and his partner were not interested in coming back to Glasgow. Maswanhise, is he just another player that, at that time, the Motherwell manager got the best out of him with their style of play? Obviously, if he performs this season then he may get his big move.

This place is cuckoo. 1 game in and the manager is crap, the players are crap, the owners are crap, everything is crap. Never thought I would say this, but might have to go back onto Follow Follow to get some common sense.

Irvbear, it's not about everything being crap.
It's about starting the league short of what we knew we required and being possibly 2 points behind already, which is where we usually are the past 4 years, which has proved quite expensive slip up to start the league campaign.
You could say, well, we win every other game going forward.
Or we could lose our next game and be even further behind.
Depends how you view it, until it's come to pass.
Without the creative quality we need, I can't see us going on a run that's required to sustain a challenge.
But that's just one man and his dog's opinion. 😊

Irvbear, no-one on this post has said anything is crap. 😅 Simply talking about players we'd like. No harm in that mate.

Motherwell have sold Watt and Just for a rumoured £8m combined. They're not desperate for cash, and will want good money for Maswanhise, who was the league top scorer last season. They'll want about £6m for that guy, and someone will pay it.
We pulled out the Dahl deal because that was apparently getting too pricey. Do we even have amounts like £6m to spend, or do we need to sell first?

Walter, u can't go past a brick wall with pace.

Irvbear, no one on this post slating the manager or players. Discussion around our very obvious lack of wide players and who we would like to be signed mate. Not many teams are going to be able to break down low blocks with absolutely no width on show. It's also incredibly unfair to place the burden on young Curtis, at his age.
Of course, we can't sign who we like, but, speaking for myself, the frustration comes from us being allowed to be in this position when the season proper has started. A winger who blows mainly cold in Gassama and a young lad who, some argue, is better centrally than he is wide.
