It's 100% worrying Bb, I think the sales are taking longer than expected and it's really hindering us more than people want to admit.

As of right now I would say our 1st 11 is ok and better than last year's 1st 11. We still have players to come, but as of right now, I think we are ok. Goalie improved, Defence improved, Midfield improved, Attack improved.
We've only lost Mikey Moore, as far as I can see, but improved in all other areas. We still have 2 or 3 to come in. Hopefully Wingers.

What we have right now is better than what Dundee United have. If we get another 2 in by next Friday and win, that's all that matters.

Sharing your vibe BB, I just feel we have not really improved and felt that we really needed to.
I think we still have plenty of work left to do, and as we have not spent much I am not totally down. There is still time to get the work done, and the WC always delays transfers so it's understandable where we are at.
I don't have an issue with our signings really, can see the point in all of them, but we need a lot more creativity in the middle and wings.
My hope is that DM can get us results similar to Rohl, keep us in it while we gel players and get some difference makers in.

1st 11 is not better than last season, which is worrying. Our defence is still a shambles, no wingers, and what is worrying, McInnes may play with no wingers and we struggle for creativity as it is. 🤦♂️

I still think we might get one or two this week, then maybe a waiting game until last week of window, where there will be plenty of ins and outs with loads of teams, players needing to make a decision before close of window.

Centre half is weaker. McCrorie isn't a number 1 rb, squad player poss. We don't have wingers currently. It may also take the side time to adjust to Del's ways of playing. Looked all over the place Tuesday. Far more assured when 3 in middle. (not sure if it was that or all the youth players the French put on).

So Souttar is better than Ben Godfrey, and the ever aging Tav is better than McCrorie "defensively". Like I said we need wingers, but we have only lost Moore. Where have we downgraded? I just dont see any downgrades anywhere.
The only thing I will say is McCrorie is nowhere near a prime time Tav, so I hope he turns into the best defender in Sco as he has nothing else.

I felt good about this team up until that friendly against St Etienne. I was pretty shocked by how bad that performance was. I can see why people would be concerned. But it was just a pre-season friendly. Let's see where we are in a few weeks.

McCrorrie is not a good player imo. Never has been. Don't know why we brought him back. Godfrey isn't better than Djiga. Don't know why you said Souttar as he is still at our club. Godfrey has been poor for a few years, and a 50/50 signing at best, whether he will be good enough.
No, we haven't improved, TJBB, this team right now doesn't win the league. 442 formation doesn't win us the league either.

That's fair enough, Storm, your opinion of course, and I'm sure you hope deep down you're wrong. Only time will tell. I still think Pandur, Neil, Godfrey, Shankland, Devlin and Drago improve the squad on and off the pitch, everyone captin material and personality. Agree about Mcrorie though, not great going forward, so we need to get a good right winger.
