Mate, there was fighting etc. with Scottish fans at the World Cup as well. The news usually sticks with the good stuff to push whatever story and agenda they want. It can be turned the opposite way as well. The vast majority of every nation were on great behaviour, but if the World Cup was in Europe that might not have been the case.

The reporting on the England players is way over the top at times, but there is no denying they have some great players. Although nobody ever said Scotland would win it, some of the Scottish punditry on Scotland was way over the top too. Talking about how they would qualify from the group, how they would get a point from Morocco and then Brazil, and bumming up some of the players, who have let them down at multiple tournaments now.
National bias is natural and at times totally illogical, captain.
