Is it possible that Thelo is coming back a week early to discuss his future and fight for it, could he possibly want away or has he been told he's surplus to requirements?

If he's a surplus from requirements, which I would doubt, as he's worth a lot of money to us, he would not come back early in my opinion.
My thoughts are he knows there's going to be a lot of competition and wants to get back in and fight for his place.

He is all in, he wants to stay.
I'm not convinced in his work rate.
A pre World Cup interview with Norway he was talking about Rangers and when he's on the pitch he always gives 100%, I'm sure a few of us have our own view on that.

I don't see where Aasgaard fits in a DM team. Doesn't work hard enough off the ball to be in midfield, and we've got 4 strikers that he'd be behind. I'd sell if an offer comes in. Think he'd be suited to the pace of the game in Italy.

I wish I was wrong, but I've never seen what Aasgaard brings to the team. The minimum I expect as a fan is 100 % in effort, something I can count on one hand where he is concerned. An ex Wigan and Luton player, so for me he has never been good enough. Move him on.

If he is coming back early, I would think that means he wants to stay. If he wanted away, his agent would be able to do the talking.

I'm hoping if he's staying that Mcinness will give him a few home truths on that work rate and what's required.
If he can get that work rate and tempo of the game here then there isn't any doubt he can be a top player.
