So 15-17m for Raskin
Can anyone explain what he's done to be 25m? You're telling me he could go from 15m to 25m because of 3 games at the world cup?
Celtic won't get 25m for engles but they'll get more than we will for Raskin so don't mention it, he's younger and technically better
Meanwhile for 6 months we hear Chermiti is a dud, we hero Mikey Moore, Chermiti out performed him across the season
Why should we trust your opinions when its littered with bias?
Raskin has been poor for us, remember if Tav is a serial loser winning all trophies once euro finalist then Raskin is a super serial loser
Never criticised, even though he's supposed to be the best player, never a captain moody player who can't follow instructions leaks teams falls out with 3 out of 4 managers he's worked for, performs 1 in 10 games
Keep this in mind when Cammy Devlin out performs him next season, Raskin was average at best for us, in my opinion based on the reputation you give him he's been AWFUL, complete flop downgrade from a lot of players who previously played the position, Jack aribo, kamara, lundstram to name a few
went backwards with him in the team, can't wait till he's gone so I don't need to listen to you guys exaggerate him into a great player when he's average in Scotland

I've long maintained he was worth £13-15 million tops, so his decent run at the WC has net us an extra couple of million.
I think he's vastly overrated, but maybe that's because I'm 50 and grew up watching a plethora of proper midfielders at our Club.
Not hard to replace. Good luck to him if he moves on.

Personally don't see Devlin as a starter. Will replace Barron and be a bit part player, Dragojevic, Neil, Dahl, possibly Chukwuani will all play ahead of him.

It won't matter what Raskin is worth, as he will
have a release clause in his contract around 15million, so if someone meets that and he's happy then he's off.

Some on here blow my mind, Chermiti and Fernandez were chastised on here for not being Rangers standard, now 6 months later they are £25million plus players.
Raskin didn't even perform well at WC, and someone said he was named as top three upcoming players.

My Star, he may well do that, my point is, fans on here don't give players a chance, then they score against them and suddenly they are world beaters.
Devlin already written off by some when he hasn't kicked a ball for us, Dahl, who may not ever be a Rangers player, is the be all and end all, if we fail to sign him, then we are doomed for failure and I'd bet 90+% of the Dahl fan boys have never even seen the lad play.

Basically, if you tackle (Raskin) or you say 'I love Rangers' in an interview (Mikey Moore), fans will give you time.
If you're signed by a manager they don't like (Dessers, with mb, Chermiti with RM/thelwell), they'll invent reasons. Dessers did not miss sitters, BTW, was regularly finishing more than Kyogo and Maeda who won them titles.
Chermiti will be back to being the villain again if we don't start well, Shankland won't be criticised, want proof? Miovski.
If they like a player, they pretend not to see their bad moments, if they don't its all they do.
How many podcasts started about Chermiti missing a chance? How much time vs any other player was he spoken about negatively?
Why?
Remember, in your world view Raskin is the best player in the team but for some reason escapes any responsibility.
Issue last season was a poor midfield with no creativity, strikers were fine but you focused on Chermiti until you looked silly for doing it.
Instead of blaming Raskin playing at 50% to stay fit for a World Cup and coincidentally gets injured for the last 2 games once we're out the title race.
He wants to play for Chelsea not Rangers.

Great honest post, too many Fantasy values getting banded around for our players, all wishful thinking from people who don't have a clue what they are talking about. And, by the way, I'm not saying I do either, but I don't say average players are worth silly money.

The people who now like Chermiti don't, they're waiting for the first opportunity to jump back on him.
You think the ginger guy at Rangers Review isn't going to go aha see I was right I'm not embarrassed anymore about saying he should be playing in a high school team if he doesn't start well and start piling on pressure so he doesn't feel bad for his stupid comment?
Seen it between seasons with Dessers, these 'fans' haven't changed their mind, they're waiting for the next chance to be disruptive because they make dumb comments they want to come true so they don't look silly.
That's why they won't turn on Raskin, they've said he's world class, they dknt change their mind, they just stop saying positive things and he has one performance and he's Captain material.
We have a serious fan base problem nobody wants to recognise and if we're not lucky and win the title this season I don't see how we ever do it with fans who selectively apply standards like 'you don't get time' which has not been a club standard since we got relegated and everyone else started doing it.

Raskin cost us 1.5 mill, I believe. If when he gets sold pays for McRorrie, Dahl, and Drago, he done ok by the Gers. If Chermiti gets sold we need to be getting back 10 mill, just get our money back. Still think we need a rb, a cover lb.

Don't agree at all with this post. Raskin is technically better than Jack, Lundstrum and the lad Engels.
Jack was a very good Def Mid and better than Raskin at that role. But Raskin has more to offer than that. And Lundstrum was decent, but was not efficient enough with passes. He lost possession whilst passing it sideways, whilst Raskin tries to pass forward. As for Engels, he's taller, that's it.
I'm not a massive fan but that's my honest review. And as for Cammy Devlin, if he is going to be Raskin's replacement then we will have serious problems next season.
Another lad that likes to put it about but isn't at the standard we require. In fact he wasn't even one of the better players at Hearts last season. Baningime (spelling) and the lad from Birmingham were better.
Personally, wouldn't be surprised if Raskin stays, but if he leaves he will leave with my best wishes. A player that is good enough to play for us, but played in a team that have been lacking in other areas.

My star, we paid something like 10m for him and there was an uproar about that fee, especially because of his previous club scoring record. Now people are saying he's a 25m + player.
That, in my eyes, is fantasy. Be different if he absolutely smashed it last season; however, he didn't. He was 4th in the SPL scoring charts, the boy from Motherwell scored more. What is he worth?

25m is nothing for a young talented cf. Lads got great ability. Wait and see his future transfer fees. Locher, he's sold it will be the biggest transfer fee in Scotland. I'm hoping that's not until next summer.
