Outscored by the 3rd lowest ranked team in the WC is an embarrassment and so was giving that sour faced negative dick Clarke a new 4 year deal before judging his WC performance. We have some technically good players, we have some grafters and we have some down right poor players but we should not be in such a poor position as we are now.
It was said by a few of us in live chat last night, but who would want to play striker for us. It's such a thankless task in 95% of our games as we never have anyone near them and we expect them to hold it up and wait an age to get men to support them. That bulldog on the touchline will most likely keep selecting his favourites and we will continue to flatter to deceive.
Our fans are adored everywhere we go and deserve better than some half assed effort and anti football, especially at the costs they paid to attend! Rant over.

Surely we will see a changing of the guard after this.
There must have been at least half a dozen in that team last night that are clearly at the end of their international careers, e.g. McKenna, Tierney, Patterson, Hanley, Gunn, Robertson. I'm sure you guys can suggest more.
But we need to start fresh, giving Clark another contract doesn't help.

Patterson is only in his early 20s, there's no danger he's at the end of his career.

Patterson is still young but he has been terrible in the 3 games he's played imo.

Foolmonty, McTominay was hellish on all 3 games imo. We can't pass, no movement, and can't shoot, hellish state of affairs tbh.

I was at Wembley 3 times in the 70's, but lost interest. I was never a fan of the Tartan Army, but seeing the pics of them so downhearted today, I'm so sorry for them. They deserve better. That first goal just typifies our team.
