Here we are again or mibee not.
Hopefully DR stays. If not the new manager frenzy continues. Well not new exactly all we seem to do is throw up the same candidates and argue between ourselves hiw our pixk us the messiah.
My assertion:-

No to Gerrard - big player / average manager / lesser coach
No to McInnes - don't see what he brings other than he knows the league bit for some accreditation from WS is enough.
Muscat - no idea what he brings, played fir us, knows Craig Moore and he's a bit like ange

Fir me I want a coach who'll help
Us put in place the strategic structure that will allow us to be successful. Maybe not overnight but beyond. If we don't as a club take a deep breath. We'll be hear again in another 3/6/9/12 months.

If social media was around when Souness left, no one would've wanted Walter Smith. Give McInnes better players, and he wins the league. He wouldn't be my choice personally, but he's a good Manager and done well, very well, with next to nothing.

Good post, Iron. Derek McInnes is a good manager. I agree. ? ??

Iron, sorry don't agree, but that's ok.
For me McInnes is a short term fix. I think we need to look beyond that.

Iron, what gives you the confidence that McInnes knows how to handle better players? Never had that level of player before or that level of expectation. All I do know is that Dons fans would have driven him to Killie ages before he went, as his football was boring.

No matter who we appoint, if Rohl does go, the appointment needs to be solid. As a club, we need stability, consistency, confidence and progression. A manager who's in it for the medium to long term, to build the club back to where we were with Walter Smith buff, that's possible, not a quick fix.
