He didn't turn us down. He agreed the move and Thelwell changed the goalposts.
They also won the league last season. ?

When did he turn us down? And he had to get rid of a lot of players in the close season, maybe research it first.

Isn't it the case that Rangers tried to get Muscat but he refused to leave the club he was at because they were near the end of their season? That was the line at the time.
Rangers had a sit down with Gerrard in London and he turned us down.
We approached Muscat and he turned us down. Then we went after, Rohl. It was common knowledge that Rohl was not our first choice.

? Rohl.

RohlWithCheese, Kevin Muscat had agreed to take the Rangers manager's job and didn't turn the job down. ? He wanted to finish the season with his Chinese club as they were in a tight league title fight, and would come early December once his club's season was over. ?
Rangers wanted a manager immediately and so we moved back to Danny Rohl and appointed him.
? Muscat was very disappointed, as he was only wanting to do the honourable thing, and surely most of us can understand that, and that's the type of honourable manager you'd want, I would think. ? That's from his big pal Craig Moore, who we know personally. ? Muscat absolutely was desperate to be the new Rangers manager. ???

The job offer was to take over immediately. He turned that down honorably or not.
Proven to have won the league by corruption, along with half the other teams, so not sure how u credit that. And had to lose players, just like every other team in his division. We have lost a lot of players close season now. Has badly struggled with managing the rebuild, which is what everyone is saying we need.
Doesn't give confidence he can manage a rebuild here. Only succeeded when following success. And, apart from Ange while at Celtic, how many managers from that side of the world have had any kind of success managing in Britain or anywhere in Europe?

Muscat would be another bad call. Imo.
