Read a small article from Rohl on Naderi, saying after a pre season he'll be better next season, what i also picked up, he said reminds him of Yussus Poulsen, he played behind the cf's in a 4222 at RBL.

If he turns out half as good as either of those he will be fine. We have to remember he came mid-season to play a higher impact game without that conditioning, so like the rest of the team he will be better after a pre-season.

But we played 2 wide men last season, so at best guess a 4-2-1-3, but more realistically a 4-3-3. That 4-2-2-2 has no width and really struggles against any low block defence. So I don't see it being successful.

Angus got 2 number ten's and 2 cf's, making the width up top, and fullbacks from deeper. Not a formation I like anyway, but it seems Rohl does. He had Moore and Olsen cutting inside from wide behind 2 cf's.

They weren't number 10s though. On right, we had gassed hugging touchline. Moore always played out wide and all his goals and assists came from there. He may have come inside, but he was wide and not the top 2 in that 2-2 box, which I think you mean.
You even say it yourself that he had players cutting inside from out wide. That box means teams keep narrow and give up all the wide space. We didn't do that.
