Your team wins the champions league and the first thought is to go burn down shops, cars, restaurants

And the best one of all, According to authorities, a group of individuals attempted to storm a police station in the French capital late Saturday.

Violent celebrations also followed PSG's previous Champions League triumph. After the club won the title last year, 201 people were injured in Paris and more than 500 Arrests

Now before anyone jumps in and says look at some of the trouble we get in Glasgow during celebrations when an Old Firm team wins the league or cup etc

Yes there might be a few disorderly folk full of drink fighting etc

But we're not setting the city of fire burning cars and restaurants and trying to storm a police station

Wow! Just wow!

If for a minute I think this is normal PSG fans - I cans safely say, I do not!

I do think the media reporting is giving the full story here - but maybe that's just me!

There were cars set on fire when I left Bilbaos Stadium last year. Their fans were absolute nut jobs.

I was attacked by about 5/6 different groups in Bilbao, and also saw the cars on fire. I didn't even provoke anyone, just because I had my colours on show. On the walk back through the streets, a young boy, only in his early teens, was hit as well, and you couldn't react because of the sheer presence.

The reactions last night seem to be the same reactions we've seen the last few years in Paris when significant things happen / big celebrations. This isn't the first or last time it happened or will happen.

On another note, I was in Rome last night with the Mrs and ended up in the Highlander bar, met a few of the boys from the RSC there and was really impressed with atmosphere and the lack of violence and issues I've had on other city breaks. I.E. Paris, Krakow, Prague, Amsterdam go back to all these places again because they are stunning but the people that occupy the city centres of these places are not!

Am in the fire service, mate, and believe it or not, the amount of fires and trouble caused after a Rangers Celtic game is absolutely wild, but a lot kept out of the media.

31 May 2026 15:52:19
Ryan, I'm not sure why it would be kept out of the media. The media usually love to have a go. Can't exactly remember who it was, but someone was saying we and their fans are the worst in the world.

I'm not playing down how bad we are, but not even close to being the worst. I'll never understand why celebrations can turn to burning cars, etc. Fecking morons. ?

I have no idea, my friend. There is also a lot of stabbings and violence that doesn't seem to make the news for some silly season. And I completely appreciate you are not playing it down 100 percent, but you wouldn't believe some of the crazy stuff that happens that doesn't get the news.

We're definitely not the worst, but we are certainly not the best either. I just don't understand what goes on in some people's head.

Ryan, I don't doubt you mate, obviously you see it first hand with being a firefighter. I don't understand myself, bonkers.

Wouldn't go to Paris if you paid me, probably the unsafest place in Europe now.
