I recall a few months back Rangers were looking into options to increase capacity at our iconic Ibrox Park .
Was there a timeline as to when the surveys or plans would be concluded?
You don't realise what you have in Ibrox until you sit in the soulless bowl that is The London Stadium.

I did the stadium tour a few months back, and asked this question. The guide was really nice, and told me plans had already been drawn up, with the potential to improve up to just over 60000. I too would be interested to hear more on this, as we still have a large ST waiting list.

Would hate to ever be like that Olympic Stadium Iron, but we're losing almost 10000 a game revenue compared to Celtic, so would love to see us increase somehow.

They have £5m - £6m head start on us every season, and we need to make that difference up. The challenge being, how much will it cost us to do the building work?
Anfield added something like 7000 seats to the Anfield Road Stand by keeping existing lower stand and building up and back at a cost of £80m.
If we did same with Sandy Jardine Stand, for example, and filled in the corners, we'd be £100m easy. How long to recoup that?!? Would love to see it happen though.

It's not great, Kaiser, I think it could be transformed though if they actually owned it.
As much as I liked the Boleyn, it couldn't be extended without compulsory purchase that could take years if approved, and even then it would be minimal.
I, though, don't have the same connection to the Boleyn as local fans born and bred in the area, and I'd fume as well if we were dragged away from Ibrox, so whilst I understand the business reasons for doing it I see the fans gripe as well.

Project Regen, as Jim Gillespie mentioned last week in an interview, is being looked at. Lowering the pitch to give extra seats is at feasibility, I think he mentioned.

I'd heard a while ago now that Rangers couldn't lower the pitch any lower because of the River Clyde level. ?

Think it was to do with the water table, Coops, though not 100% bud. ?

I doubt that pitch is getting lowered, Sir Walter. It wouldn't be done in an off season either, which would mean a Hampden stint.

SWS pitch lowering is the easy bit, undersoil heating, drainage, etc. is the harder bit. Iron, go read his interview.
