We're being heavily linked now with Elliot Watt. Had a decent youth career at some good sides, also Scotland youth. Was captain for Scotland U19s. What's the general opinion? Good enough? Personally I think he's looked a cut above most in the SPL this season.

Stephen O'Donnell looked a lot better than he is in that Motherwell team.
Didn't hear much about Watt before this year and isn't like this is his breakthrough season. Think a lot of the players stood out just because the team clicked and naturally made them look good.
Think taking any of the Motherwell players would be a risk.

Motherwell get a coach who gets them organised, shutting down man for man. Everyone then goes on about their players, Watt, etc. Celtic are playing rubbish. They bring in O'Neil, they go on and win the title. 5 games to go, we have title in our grasp.
We watch teams turning up at Ibrox, scoring 2, 3 goals against us. No use singing Danny Danny Rohl when he's watching the same poor performances game after game, then puts out the same defence every week.

Heavily linked lol I understand we already have had an offer of 1.2 knocked back. An unofficial offer, all be it, but also told player still sees his future down south depending on the offers he receives.

One of the concerns is he would be classed as a foreign player, reducing the 17 slots we have available. Folk seem to think he is Scottish.

John, correct. I honestly didn't know it worked like that ? but aye, homegrown means born and bread in Scotland obviously. Something I've never really thought about before. Cheers!

Rwn, sorry to be pedantic, u don't need to be born in Scotland, a very good example would be Munn, born in NI but been at Rangers academy three years, that classes him as homegrown.
Nsiala outwith UK, so two years classed him as home grown in our academy.
That's why the Chelsea, Newcastle, Liverpool, City sign all the 16 year olds from up here.
