Some fans are more concerned that our Captain, Leader, Legend ( ? ) threw his toys out the pram than take a place on the bench.
I'm over the moon that Rohl took that stance with a half fit, RB that thinks he can pick and choose when to play for our club.
I for one can't wait until Tav is out the door.
Goodfeckingriddance.

I am so on board with you on this Mph.
A lot has been talked about mentality in recent years, and I have debated against this, but the last few weeks have changed my mind. I think mentality is still a poor description because for me it's about character, which is much worse than mentality.
Managers can change mentality, but to change character is something completely different. It's no wonder Tavernier, and co, have seen off so many managers because he, and others, lack the character required to be successful Rangers players.
I loved Dr post match last night. I did not want to watch it; I forced myself the last few weeks to watch these.
It's not just about saying the right things; it's about seeing and understanding what needs to be done and meaning it.
As much as I'd actually really like McInnes, because last night he gave me Walter Smith vibes, I am all in on giving Dr a chance to sort our dressing room out and clear out those who lack the character to be successful with our club. Even if it does not work out for him, it will benefit our club massively in the long run.
For all my criticism of Tav, he is still one of our best ever players in my mind. But he is also by a massive margin our worst ever captain.

Tav needs to tell his side of the story. Then we decide who we believe.
There should be no leadership group till we find true leaders.
14 May 2026 14:02:30
What must real players of the past think of this pathetic group we have. No fight. No pride. No heart. Where is the respect for the fans and this great club? This team and management are a disgrace. One to go, and Tav is history, and hopefully more to follow.
14 May 2026 14:06:15
I agree 100% Mph. After Sunday, I don't know how he would think he would start even if fit. He was atrocious, like the rest of them on Sunday.
14 May 2026 14:06:35
John, Tav has already come and said we will learn from this. ?
14 May 2026 14:41:19
Rohl was very specific and detailed on what happened, so easy for Tav to challenge it if it isn't true. Totally agree with what u say. MPH.
14 May 2026 14:46:36
I don't think it's quite as black and white as that. If he refused to sit on the bench, then yes, that is poor. But 99% of people said he shouldn't start against them last weekend and it should be Sterling. What did Rohl do? The opposite! Same as Skov Olsen starting vs. Hearts, then Antman starting against Celtic. Rohl is fudging his way through this. 4 defeats in a row, and it's Tav that is getting the bashing? I'm not even a massive fan of Tav's, but when you look at some of the guys who have stolen a wage and never played, he has been a great servant.
Sterling started against Motherwell and was ripped apart as well, remember. Surely you start Sterling against them and Tab last night, considering the leave was already lost? Amateurish, to say the least, but is ok. Rohl has been told all ok for next season! Back the same gap as when Rm left. Shambles!
14 May 2026 14:47:58
Dare I say it. But DR has gone up in my estimation. If this is the attitude and nonsense he has had to tolerate from key players, then no wonder his team is in crisis.
14 May 2026 14:48:11
Disgusting way to treat the club captain. John Greig had to sort that for Tav to come out in front of the fans last night. Love him or hate him, he has been a great servant to Rangers over the past 10 years.
He should have been given the chance to say goodbye, given we have nothing to play for. I can't wait til our project manager is out the door cause he hasn't got a clue about our club. ?
14 May 2026 15:11:40
Wag, yes, that's how I feel re Rohl if version of Tav situation is true.
What did Greig sort? He was always doing the presentation.
14 May 2026 15:15:24
You say we have "nothing to play for", Mayo Bear.
But you have been greeting about losing 4 in a row.
So what is it?
3 meaningful defeats and 1 nothing to play for defeat?
Or 4 defeats to have a dig at the manager over a player who refused to be on the bench because he thinks he's Billy Big Baws.
14 May 2026 15:33:53
Mayo, he was being given the chance to say goodbye tho. He refused because it wasn't from the start. It's not a testimonial. It's a league game. Pathetic behaviour.
14 May 2026 15:34:57
Tavernier's gone, so he is irrelevant at this point.
My concern is that this is a symptom of something worse. These sort of high profile dressing room bust-ups are uncommon. It makes me wonder what's happening in the dressing room.
I doubt any player would have had a go at a past manager like Walter Smith in that manner.
14 May 2026 15:48:30
Mph, we have no system under Rohl, and the players look lost. That's what I'm aggrieved at. Tav is still twice the player Sterling is, and not to start him in his final appearance at Ibrox was dreadful from Rohl. As I said, he doesn't understand our club. The sooner he is out the door after this weekend the better. ?
14 May 2026 16:17:30
I hate this dead rubber game and nothing to play for excuse, especially to justify Tav's behaviour!
Are we forgetting Rohl has been under increasing pressure, and would have wanted to give the fans a good final game at Ibrox, and show those fans that he is the right man going forward.
So, he loses last night and set a 43 year record. In no way was last night a dead rubber, especially for Rohl.
14 May 2026 17:21:43
John, Tav left Ibrox yesterday after a bust up with Rohl. The presentation was going to get cancelled, however, Greig told them they could not do this. He arranged for Tav to come back and get his plate. ?
14 May 2026 17:53:07
Tav got what he deserved, Florida Bear. ?
