The fact it is not Rohl's team and the fact he only had 1 transfer window in neither here nor there.
He plays players out of position.
He is unable to change things when it is not working.
He waits too long to make subs.
He has no system or style of play.
It would appear that he is unable to get players up for some games judging by the way some of them just go through the motions.
What makes people think next season will be any different?

Next season Rohl will have benefited from a summer transfer window. Then, he will get to work with a squad of his own players. I fully expect new wingers to come in, a new defense needs to be bought, and we could finally solve our number 6 issue if the rumours about Watt are true. Things could be very different indeed.

It's simple, would any of the past managers survive finishing 3rd after the investment in the team? Answer is no. He / whoever's in charge should be gone. Remove the name, simply look at the outcome, it doesn't meet the investment and our expectation. We should not celebrate failure, and that's what it is, a massive embarrassment for a club of our stature.

Rab, Just remember, before Rohl a big majority said we'd struggle getting into the top six. Him getting us back in the challenge, he at least deserves a pre season and more quality added. Far too fast some of our fans, the real season we go trophies less the majority of the time now. Maybe a bit of patience is required from all.

Sure, let's just ignore all the factors that make things difficult so we can only focus on his faults.

Slim Jim, not to seem argumentative, but if it is up to Danny to "get the players up for some games" surely that is down to the players. If they cannot get up for a game, they are in the wrong profession. Remember, these guys get a helluva amount of money only some of us can dream of a week. As you were saying, going through the motions, I think there has been, and still are, players in the team going through the motions for most of the season.
These guys don't seem to realise what a privilege it is to be playing for our club. Regarding, again, getting up for some games, they seemed to be able to do that when Russell Martin left, as up to the split we had only lost 2 games in the league. I honestly, personally think these guys are too pampered, taking them away to Spain. The guys need to grow a pair and start earning their money, either put up or P*** off.

It's just blind faith from many on here. What are they actually seeing that they like? No structure and permanent softness.

#Real reason.

It's manager/coach job to get players motivated, I've only seen us play ok under Rohl, and that was 4-2 win over Hearts.
12 May 2026 16:52:31
Mr Rangers, surely the £20k + going into your bank account every week is not motivation enough. Not counting your own personal pride and being able to go home at the end of the week saying I earned my money this week and every other week.

100% you're correct, but players play for managers, ie run through brick walls. Why aren't ours?
12 May 2026 18:07:59
People said this squad wasn't good enough to win the league and have been 100% proved right. We will not win a league with Rohl as head coach. 6 wins in 16 games against the top 6, and some think this is acceptable. ?♂️ Banged on about 5 cup finals and lost 3 of them out of 3, so the last two don't matter.
Also pumped out both cups to Celtic even though we have been told we have a better starting 11 and squad, 7 points behind them in the league and 8 points behind Hearts. ?♂️ He has to go.

Well said, Storm, here here!

I personally think they have got away with murder ever since SG left, as the managers who have came in are not of the same stature as SG, as he has played the game and knows what winning is all about, seems that some managers have a total different approach, also I again personally think they are to mollycoddled, and you can't raise your voice to them, I have been following Rangers since the early 70's when as you said these guys would run through a brick wall for a few bob a week, and played with more pride than these guys nowaday's.
Imagine Wullie Waddell or Jock Wallace getting a hold of these guys, even latterly Graeme Souness or Walter Smith, they would have known what hit them, possibly a fist

Jotgalbertz 11, imagine Big Jock taking them down to the dunes for a wee while, lol. Half of them would rezine straight away. Half an hour max, most would put in a transfer request.
