People still find it a big deal that, "he got us back in the game".
We moved from 8th to 3rd in about 2 weeks, it was nothing like the big deal they made it out to be, any Rangers manager would make ground up in our league, Nancy was a massive help too.
Rohl hasn't put out a team that looked good, almost since he came, he is out of his depth, he's an assistant, that's not a Rangers manager, someone else's assistant, last assistant to be successful was Walter I think, many years ago but he understood the club, the fans and the country, as did Eck and Dick, And even Phillips got it and he was the first and last real manager we had, he should've been kept and supported.
now Andrew Cavanagh has big decisions to make, we have a few who get it and will give everything they have like Rommens, Barron and, actually that's all of them, they are not the players that win titles, they are the players who allow others to win trophies, we have nobody to do that.
Chermiti had zero shot today, on target anyway. Midfield disappeared and left wee Connor chasing shadows when he's not even up to match fitness. Antman another thrown in after months in the wilderness, he actually had " his" first choice players on the bench.
They play every week before getting taken off because they are awful. Yesterday, back on again as replacements. It's ridiculous management and little wonder the team has no shape, no fight and no clue.
The guys who fight like Connor and Tuur are made to look poor by the ball players who were hiding, again, replace them with even more " hiders" and they ran away with the game.
When they're fans are humiliating your manager there's no coming back from that. I'm afraid for the future now, we don't appear capable of getting the right manager.

Russell Martin, who you championed as a great appointment, got us into the mess in the first place.
So there's one Rangers manager who wasn't making up ground, but had us in reverse.

TT12, if you don't mind me asking you, pal, who would you want to replace Danny Rohl as Rangers head coach/manager? ?

I think, when the manager starts with Antman on the back of "he's trained really well this week" it tells you he has no reliable right winger. Skov Olsen is a shadow of the player he was, and Gassama can't be trusted. The issue isn't the manager. Beale and Martin aside, we have had good managers (good, not great!) but time and time again we have lacked leadership all over the park.
We don't need one leader, we need 11. Talent should get you in the building but bleeding desire to win at all costs should be the minimum for the team.

Barron was the worst player on the park today. Couldn't trap a medicine ball. Was miles off Engels as well.

Going from 8th in the league to 2nd and back in contention for the title is, by definition, getting us back in the game. Try to downplay it as much as you like, but it was a minor miracle. Nobody expected that to happen.

Tom, how can Rohl realistically in 1 window with Martins players put out a good team. I'll await your explanation.

SamOfOrange, Barron struggled a bit at the start and did miscontrol a couple of balls, hardly surprising he was a bit rusty but he recovered from that and was one of only 3 players who actually put in a shift for the jersey, I can name Tavernier, Antman, Chukwuani and Diomande who were all candidates for the worst player on the pitch.
