Well I hope that is the end of the one up top experiment and the last time we ever see Olsen in a Rangers team. Both experiments just don't work.
Major questions have to be asked of Rohl. Continually picks the wrong team and tactics. Credit to McInnes, an excellent manager. We should be doing all we can to get McInnes. How we never signed Shankland in the summer on a free is a mystery.
Well fellow bears its another summer and another rebuild.
Lets do Hearts a favour and beat Celtic next week. ???⚪️?.

No excuses, finishing 3rd in this league is a sackable offence.

Many posters on here believed/said Shankland and McInnes weren't good enough for Rangers! Even if we signed him and he never played much, it would have still weakened hearts.

Not when you were 15 points behind the league leaders on taking over another manager's recruitment choices. It's definitely not a sackable offence. It's good leadership and football management.
Get real, what we need is stability, continuity and a strategy to develop our club to return us to a place in the top echelons of European Club Football.
Football is a cyclical sport. All clubs need to keep evolving, changing and developing in order to remain competitive. Rohl deserves at least a full season, with a full preseason, his own choice of players, staff and football department support.

What happens if, God forbid, we make a poor start, that's him under pressure straight away.
05 May 2026 11:45:41
It's more problematic than just inheriting his recruitment choices.
It seems Martin conditioned them very poorly, as he intended to play his tedious possession based game.
I think, as a result, we are having and have had serious fitness issues with the majority of the squad, as Rohl does not set up his teams to play the same way.
Rohl deserves a full preseason, summer window, and all of next season imo.
However, that's if he actually wants to hang around.

What if he wins his first 8 games, Son of Struth? God forbid we're top of the league.
He must get his own players in and a proper preseason. This season is completely unacceptable, but that's 100% on Cavenagh and Marathe.
They completely understood and underestimated the league, and have had us chasing from September.
While it's great that they have put steps in place to resolve the issue, it doesn't deter from the fact this season is on them.

Danny Rohl will be our head coach for the foreseeable future. Andrew Cavenagh has said so, unless of course Danny Rohl decides to take up another position closer to home to be with his family.
05 May 2026 12:03:40
Andrew Cavenagh isn't going to say otherwise, is he?
05 May 2026 12:06:55
I really hope he does take up another position, Sco, I really do.
05 May 2026 12:22:08
I honestly would prefer if Rohl moved on.
05 May 2026 12:35:21
If we don't wake up in these last three games, we could end up more than 15 points behind by the time that the league is done. That would mean that we have not improved at all under Rohl, and, while that's not totally true, it would be a damning stat.
05 May 2026 12:40:42
He needs a preseason. Where have we heard that one before? He's another dreadful choice, club should cut their losses and bin him.
05 May 2026 14:36:32
So who would you replace Danny Rohl with, BlueWouldDo? ? Do you not think we've done enough of chopping and changing managers after very short stints, and still it's not worked? ? It's now time to stick by our manager and give him time to bring his own players in for the rebuild.
? Surely Danny Rohl deserves a pre season, mate? ? He's currently working mostly with another manager's players. ?

So many posts & comments that we should bin Rohl. Let's remember the circus we had when trying to get not one but 2 managers in this season. Stress lvls for us all went thru the roof. I do not want to go bk there ever again, & for those who do think we shpuld get rid, then who replaces him? It's not like top successful trophy winning managers are in abundance out there.
DR at least deserves a chance to clear vast majority of this lot out & try to get together a team that will give all of us what we want, a good team winning games & trophies. If there is no sign of that happening after he's had a fair crack, then yes, fair enough, but c'mon, guy needs a fair crack at it first.

Many posters didn't say they weren't good enough for Rangers, a few did. Over exaggeration, though, sounds better.
