On the topic of McGuire the young keeper I read earlier he's had 10 saved pens and 7 clean sheets in 25 games for 19s and was mostly 16/17 in that age group so that's some doing.
He makes me think of young Craig Gordon and if he's gave the chance at 20 for us he'll excell. He need 2 loans and a shot at 2nd choice and gave a chance to show what he's got at that age like Gordon had. He may even deserve it before then but I don't see him like guys like John or EHL among others so what yous rhing guys?
Gordon was deemed to young tik he got his chance through injury so he is too good to lose.

A shot at second choice sitting on the bench does zero for development, loans better.

We will not hold onto him. Loans also don't always work, especially keepers. But he does need to go on loan and hopefully he smashes it. I think it will be another that heads south.

Worked well for McGregor at Dunfermline storm. In fact, Le Guen sanctioned the sale for £400k, and they couldn't come up with it. The rest is history.
