When we were searching for a new manager before Martin, Souness suggested Frank Lampard. He's just got Coventry into the EPL. If only. Before you sing Rohl's praises, as of now he's won nothing. Maybe all our draws might have been wins?

Yip, he has won nothing but still deserves a lot of praise. From where we were with the squad we had to where we have the league in our own hands is phenomenal.
Whatever happens at end of season Rohl will have my utmost respect and praise.
With his own pre season in place, his own players and his style cemented next year will be exciting and hopefully successful.

I'm delighted with the job Danny Rohl has done as our head coach, and irrespective what happens in this league race, I'm looking forward to his signings and mini rebuild for next season. ? He absolutely deserves credit that he's even got us near fighting for this league title, and he's a good head coach who'll improve us again next year.
? I totally believe if we win the league this season I can see a period of dominance domestically for us going forward. ? ??

What's my name. What has Lampard done in his managerial career to merit Rangers manager? I know we took a chance on Stevie G, but he had the player pull what Lampard doesn't.
I think Danny Rohl was perfect appointment as has shown he can turn a struggling club around, but w ways too look at it. Proof in the pudding with Rohl or who knows with Lampard.

Rangers were refused permission to talk to Lampard. He did not bat an eyelid.

Danny Rohl has done an amazing job since joining Rangers, as who would have thought we would be in this league position when he was appointed.
Regardless of the outcome, it will be good to have a bit of continuity going into next season with the same manager and coaching team at the helm.

What's the bigger achievement?
Lampard getting Coventry promoted or Danny Rohl shaking the tag 'project manager'?

Mark Robins reached the playoff final.
Coventry getting promoted, whilst a great achievement, was not an insurmountable challenge.
Danny Rohl winning the league this season would eclipse that achievement in my opinion.
We were buried under Martin, there was a more positive atmosphere in a morgue under Martin.
The very fact we are discussing potentially winning the league shows how good a job Danny has done.

Danny was Cavanagh's choice in summer, and again after Martin.

I think Lampard would have been the ideal replacement for Gerrard to keep the momentum going at that time. The board, however, didn't have the finances to invest in that progress, so they went elsewhere. At the time Clement got the job, Lampard's reputation was at a low point after being sacked by Everton and his temporary stint back at Chelsea, so there was a definite groundswell of supporters who didn't rate him.
Fair play to him, he has taken a step back to move his career forward and I think he is unlikely to ever be Rangers manager.

I think Lampard would have been a great choice, but am equally delighted with Rohl. The future is bright.
