Reading a few posters posts earlier today saying we should make moves in the summer to sign Falkirk striker barney Stewart. ? I've honestly not seen enough of the young man yet to say we should or shouldn't try to sign him but the few times i have seen him i have liked the look of him. ? For the posters that definitely want us to sign him this summer, do you guys think he's a better striker than former Hibs striker, Kieron Bowie? ?

Not seen enough of him either, i.e. full games, but he looks a natural goalscorer, always composed finishes and seems to be in the right place most of the time. Worth bringing in and loan back to Falkirk before value goes up, if he continues the way he is at the moment.

I'd say better at similar age, not at present time, but not far away, sws, a more natural finisher as well, I'd sign him and loan him back next season, his price is only going one way, mate.

I would not say he's better than Bowie, but what a breakout season. 2 years younger as well, got the potential to be a star.

Just had a look, it is closer to 2.5 years, thought Stewart was only 20, but he was playing non league last season.

He is an interesting one. Yes, scores goals and seems to have a knack of being in the right position, but all round play is average at best from what I've seen. Not sure he would fit into the line up.
Looks like a Kris Boyd type. These guys thrive on quick balls into the box, pouncing on mistakes, and that's not how we play. May be worth a punt at the right price.

Yes, Angus, got that now, mate, just checked him out not long ago. I said he scored 40 for Herriot Watt last season, must have been the season before. Then remembered I seen him play for Falkirk in the Championship. Turns out he was loaned the first part of the season at Herriot Watt. Must have seen him in the Championship after January.
