I can't believe that Spurs are giving Dyche a 2.5-year contract at this stage of the season unless they think it's inevitable that they are relegated and want someone experienced to get them back up. A short-term deal of 2.5 months to try to save them seems more likely.
Not saying you are wrong, I just find it hard to believe. It's amazing how these guys bounce around. If he gets the job, he will have managed 3 of the bottom 5. Nuno, 4 of the bottom 5, and Pereira, 2 of the bottom 5.
