Nine games to go would like the same back four that started today to play out the rest of the season, if all fit. Though big Djiga and Fernandes played well today, even though they didn't offer much up front. Also let's finish of the season with two strikers up top.
Let's just have a go and see where it takes us. Very disappointed on today's game but we carry on and keep believing.

The defense looked a lot better without Souttar. Souttar is an absolute bomb scare of a defender. He is not good enough to pay for Rangers. Giving him that new contract was a mistake.

We played 120 mins this weekend, 90 last, and I can barely remember their keeper making a save.

When we signed Souttar, it was for depth to the squad and not as our main defender, and that is the way it should stay.
We have seen enough to know that he will never be the level of defender that we need to be successful.
With us now playing with two up, it is even more imperative that we play with two central defenders who can play a higher line and go man to man.
The best we have available to play that way were the two who started today.

Might not be a popular opinion, but the first decent crosses we had coming into the box today were from Tav when he came on. I can't see any reason why we don't try him further up for the remainder of the season, at least he gets a ball over, which is more than can be said for our current wingers.

He is a good crosser, but glad he's not in the team anymore. First minute he comes on, he isn't tight enough to the winger, who goes past him for pace. Sterling had the boy Tounetki on toast, and was touch tight to him.
Rightly so, he is out the team; he is too costly defensively, and if you play him, midfield players would run off him. Impact sub till he goes for me.
But I agree, most of the crossing was very poor.
