What's every1 thoughts on youngsters getting lured down south. Both Rangers and Celtic it's very hard for youngsters to break through. I'd say it's easier with all other spl teams. Let's face it after 18 if your not in the first team the only option is loan.
I have no quams of youngsters wanting to move. Better academies and facilities, better set up to reach your potential and better money and hopefuly 1 day to see these youngsters in a ??????? jersey. Thoughts.

It's a shame, but inevitable. Who wouldn't want to be offered what they get down south, and with better opportunities, as per EHL's article. Still hopeful we can keep a few nuggets who, after some loans, can push into the team, but it's getting harder and harder.

Correct, Kaiser. It's a short career, so u can't blame them for looking for the security of a healthy deal or two.

They grow up now watching the EPL on TV and playing FIFA. They want to play in that league because Sky keeps bombarding them with the message that it's the best league in the world. I suppose you can't blame them for tripling their salary going to the Championship or lower leagues.

Baz, a Rangers player, went south to the EPL for 20 times what we were offering.

Thanks John, I was being reserved in general, but what you say just highlights why they go.
