My star, i know yourself and a good few others including myself have always been prepared to give Chermiti a chance when we first signed him for a big fee of £8million.
He had hardly played any football at everton after they had signed him from sporting lisbon and it was always going to take time to start to see and reap the rewards of this young striker's talent and we're now most definitely getting an insight of his talented capabilities ?I always give any new signing a full season before really judging them and that's always been my way and thinking ?
I have no doubt Chermiti has superb striker attributes and i think he will be even more prolific as his career develops and definitely benefits from having a striking partner in close proximity to him and that's when he'll become more of a regular goalscorer also ?I hand on heart think that clubs will try and sign Chermiti from us in the summer and dependant on how high the offers are, will determine if he's still a Rangers player next season ?I feel Rangers will command a large fee for him and i honestly don't see us selling him for any less than £20million ?He has a lot of terrific attributes and will improve even more given that he's still only 21 years old ???

Every goal he has for us is brilliant, crazy. Why does Danny Rohl isolate him?
02 Mar 2026 09:02:27
Do really like him, sws. His potential is frightening; plenty of positives in the game. He's still learning at 21 years old. I think everyone saw his ability yesterday. When his goals come regularly, he'll be off to a top league, mate. The reason I said before the game is that Chermiti is a big player in these types of games.
02 Mar 2026 09:30:34
We need to play 442 to get the best out of our strikers and our team. We threw away the game yesterday when we took Naderi off for Dio.

If Mikey Moore is played in the number 10 position, which is something most fans want to see, that usually means Rangers are playing a 4-2-3-1. If Chermiti has a strike partner, we go 4-4-2. Danny Rohl isn't 'isolating' him on purpose, Ryan. He's tried Chermiti and Miovski many times, and it just doesn't work. Rangers pushed the boat out at the end of January to get Naderi in, who looks like a capable strike partner for him, but he's only played a handful of games so far.
Chermiti clearly operates best as the second striker. He needs someone who will occupy defenders and get 20+ goals a season next to him. Hopefully Naderi will be the player to do that.
Miovski clearly needs to go in the summer. I have no idea what happened to Miovski, but he's a shadow of the player we saw at Aberdeen.

Naderi was burnt out yesterday. We should have made the charge earlier. Celtic started winning the middle of the park once Hatate came on.
02 Mar 2026 09:44:05
Is the defence good enough to play 4-4-2.
02 Mar 2026 09:55:32
How can our players be burnt out after an hour? And, if you want the change earlier, then that's even worse. Sorry, but that's pure garbage. We allowed Hatate to control the game because we sat deeper, which I suspect was Rohl's tactic at HT.
He then tried to see the game out by bringing on Dio, which backfired. We should have continued to attack them. We can't defend under pressure, and Rohl's 2nd half tactics allowed Celtic to continually attack us.
02 Mar 2026 10:01:35
You'd be better asking management why players were burned out. If you couldn't see that with Naderi, Vision, you clearly weren't watching the same player as me.
02 Mar 2026 10:12:36
Man ran his heart out in the opening half.
02 Mar 2026 10:15:23
You were overconfident because you were watching a different Rangers to everyone else, remember!
02 Mar 2026 10:18:16
They were good enough in the first half, Rosevale, when we were attacking and did not have to defend under pressure. How many points have we dropped recently when Rohl has decided to change tactics and defend a lead?
02 Mar 2026 10:31:02
Watching a different Rangers? Vision, naw, I'm watching the Rangers that beat Hearts easily.
But you're talking about a completely different thing anyway. You're talking about a player needing to be taken out of the game when burnt out, but clearly you didn't see any of that.
02 Mar 2026 11:13:33
That's just one game, though. The Hearts game is not an overall reflection of our form. Same as when you went on and on when we drew with Spurs. One game is not the overall reflection. You were proved wrong to be overconfident, but you still claim that people watch different games from you!
Again, if he is burnt out after 60mins, then serious questions have to be asked.
Why did we spend £4m on a player that can only run for 60mins? Your point makes no sense. Rohl was not forced to make that change, he did it to protect the lead, and it backfired.
02 Mar 2026 11:18:25
And, by the way, against Hearts we played 442 up until 80-odd minutes when Naderi was subbed, so don't give me the garbage that Naderi was knackered after 60 mins. We played with the same intensity yesterday as we did against Hearts!
02 Mar 2026 11:30:29
Don't tell me the boom is running a couple of users' names again. So sad.
Listen, I'm talking about watching players, a different situation from anything you've just mentioned. See if you can't see Naderi was struggling as the game went on, fair enough, but I'm clearly watching a different Naderi from you.
02 Mar 2026 11:37:19
And we maintained the intensity against Hearts for the full game and Naderi lasted 80mins.
02 Mar 2026 11:51:30
So what? But he wasn't capable of lasting 80 minutes against Celtic on Sunday.
02 Mar 2026 11:55:43
Doh lol. ??
02 Mar 2026 11:57:32
You're talking about the Hearts game. Naderi missed training after that game.
02 Mar 2026 13:10:46
So what? If he can play with intensity against Hearts for 80 mins, then he can play with the same intensity against Celtic for 80 mins. Unless you are suggesting we have bought another dud?
Rohl was not forced to make the sub.
It was a tactical change. He brought Dio on to protect the lead, and it backfired again.
If Rohl was forced to make the change, then he should have brought on Gassama for Naderi and kept the intensity. Rohl fecked it up with the tactical change.
02 Mar 2026 13:14:48
I admit Chermiti has been brilliant in these 3 big games, but he has now got 9 goals all season, 7 in these games. He needs to start to produce in other games too, he's not the only one, but he needs to help to turn draws into wins by taking chances like the ones he missed at Motherwell and Livi.
That's the next step in proving people like me wrong.
02 Mar 2026 14:35:03
Correct. So what? He's missed training after that game you're talking about.
