Hi guys, would i be correct in saying that our 2 home games after the split will be Motherwell and Hibs, and away to Hearts, Falkirk and the mob from the east end?

Also I presume that our last fixture will be away from home?

First post, but I have been looking in at the conversations for almost a year, always some interesting posts.

Going to be an interesting post-split, to keep the title-winning game right til the last. Unless, of course, it's us v Celtic. They won't allow us to play a title decider at theirs on the last game of the season.

That's correct, Big Ggr. ? ??

I was wondering this myself. I'd put the mortgage on us being away and them being at home for the last match.

More interestingly, they both play Motherwell at home before the split, so does that mean they both have to go to Fir Park after the split?

We'll be at home to Falkirk, Motherwell & Hibs, as we've still to play Falkirk away, which is the final game before the split.

16 Feb 2026 11:35:11
Will be away to one of Hibs, Motherwell, or Falkirk for a third time after the split. It's possible it's the sixth-place team for some kind of fairness, but I don't know if it's as exact as that.

We really could do with a couple of points in front before we go into it, but as long as it's in our own hands, we go for it.

You are right. However, there is currently an imbalance of games post split if Falkirk claim 6th spot.
Only Hibs and them are due three games at home. So, someone is going to get an extra home game from Falkirk, Motherwell, Hearts and Us.

Odds are that it will be Falkirk v Us at Falkirk for the 3rd time, giving them an extra home game.
If Hearts or Rangers get an extra game at home, all hell will let loose at the East End with complaints of bias!

Possibly Falkirk away, definitely Celtic and Hearts away.
Gees, don't think that would affect the game being played at Celtic Park, mate.

16 Feb 2026 12:56:05
Does anyone else think that Rangers, Hearts, and Falkirk at home, plus Motherwell and Hibs away, is a really difficult set of post-split fixtures for the other mob?

16 Feb 2026 12:58:11
DBB, I think you may well be right about the Falkirk game. As Falkirk is our last game before the split, you can only imagine that our last game will be away to Falkirk.

As the other mob will be home to us, Hearts, and Hibs, I can only see Hibs being their last game of the season. Definitely not Rangers, and I would doubt Hearts.

16 Feb 2026 13:08:23
If we had a 20th game at home, which would almost definitely be the Falkirk fixture, and if we won that game by 3 or 4 and pipped the league by either a point or 2, or even goal difference. Those to the east will be apoplectic with accusations of cheating, bias, favouritism or whatever you like.

Home - Hibs, Motherwell.
Away - Falkirk, Celtic, Hearts.

It has to be between Motherwell & Falkirk for the extra home game, as they couldn't give it to us or Hearts, and have unfair bias for the title. My guess would be Falkirk getting it if they finish lower than Motherwell (which is pretty much guaranteed).

16 Feb 2026 13:16:00
Souness, we won't have 3 home games in the split, mate. It's 2 at home, i.e. Motherwell and Hibs, and 3 away, i.e. Hearts, Celtic and Falkirk. ?

Was told yesterday Sky want Celtic at home last game of the season, and is away to Hearts.
