With 5 or so minutes to go, 1 up against 10 men our captain elected to shoot with a free kick instead of keeping possession and seeing the game out. This Rangers team does not have the streetsmarts to see a game out and that will ultimately cost us the league.
No top side deliberately gives possession away at that stage in a game they are leading. Our game management is woeful, we let Motherwells 10 men turn it into the type of game they wanted and in doing so chucked away 2 vital points.

Can't think of any team in the world that wouldn't have a shot from a 25-yard free kick in the same circumstances.

Too negative at Easter Road, too negative tonight, more worried about what teams might do to us than what we can do to them - first time I felt Rohl has cost us with the wrong starting 11 and poor subs. Starting front 3 were rank rotten.

OK, old, I'm trying to see your input. 1 nil up. Our captain, prob the best free kick taker in SPL history, the best goal scorer for a full back in UK history, and you're complaining he shot at goal. Wtaf and jeezy peeps.

Sorry, can't agree. Problem was that we did try to manage the game at 1-0 instead of going for the throat and getting a second. Everything was too conservative for a team trying to win the league and claw back points on the leaders.
If he had went for it and lost or drew, i would get it, but to keep Skov Rommens Naderi on the bench when it appeared they were coming onto a game.
Hate seeing a Rangers team wasting time. We should have made a bigger push for 2nd earlier. Have been saying for last 6 or 7 weeks its only a matter of time before the other team score first, and we will be in real trouble because we are not used to attacking games.
