Watching Gasama lately he really is the most frustrating player. His delivery is so poor and if he's given any time either loses possession or falls over. Yes he's young and has good attributes but he needs to do more otherwise i'd look to replace with better quality in the summer

Needs to buck up his ideas, though. Playing on the left, Moore in the middle, and Olsen on the right would be the best for us in 4-3-2-1.

Absolutely, EHL, we need players to offer a bit more than Gassama is, and i'd definitely look to move him on unless he can show improvement between now and the summer. Do you rate him then?

Real pace, robust, can score, young (only 22), our player. Nothing negative, will develop into a good player given time and coaching, the exact opposite of Matondo. Selling Gas at this point would be folly.

I think he signed under difficult circumstances, had a really challenging time under Martin, has taken one for the team under Rohl by playing on the right, shown some real flashes of brilliance, been equally as frustrating at times, has an annoying tendency to dive, and has played a massive part in getting us back in the title race.
Would I be in a rush to move him on? Absolutely not.
Do I hope he does move on?
Absolutely.

EHL, why would you ever want a player you rate to move on? To me, that's just mental!
I can understand the whole, I would understand if they moved if they were a whipping boy. But not actively wanting them to.
Also, might add that what gets said in this forum isn't actually what happens at games.
Individual players tend not to get heckled or booed.

Like who?
He's been one of our best players this season, the only one just about early on in the season.
Every season this nonsense starts. We need to replace everyone, then they get replaced and they're not good enough.
Scottish football is of the quality that these guys are as good as it gets.
We need to develop them as opposed to binning them.
Skov Olsen would be classed as better quality.
He's barely in the door, but has he outperformed anyone yet? I'd say no. Constant change isn't the way to go. Just my opinion.

Zikos, it is possible to rate a player and have the opinion that the best thing for the player and the club is to part ways. I said the same thing about Jefte, Igamane, Nsiala, and probably many others.
I'm also well aware that there is a world beyond this forum, and thankfully I'm intelligent enough to take that into consideration when forming my opinions.
Your last point has me absolutely stumped, though.

I think Gassama has been overused this season. He's played in every game and has hardly played in his preferred position.
I think, with more options coming in, it may take a bit of pressure off him.
Would like to see him and Antman rotated on that left-hand side.

I agree with EHL 100% here. This forum is a microcosm of the fan base as a whole. We have a good young prospect who is only going to get better, yet fans are never going to give him the time to improve and will be on his back for every error he makes. Therefore, he won't relax and develop as he can or could.
So, it is best for the player to move and become the player he can be at a different club. We can then move on and pay for the finished article, as player development doesn't happen under these conditions. You might not like this being said, but there is truth in it.

Agreed 100%, Angus. Igamane never scored for many games, and he was getting it last season. Antman is getting it from some as well, and he's hardly kicked a ball for Rangers. I really like Gassama, and he can only improve, but we would probably be better selling him.
