Best atmosphere at Ibrox I have experienced was old Cup Winners Cup semifinal against Bayern Munich. Crowd of 80, 000 then Sandy Jardine scored in first minute followed by Derek Parlane goal. The ground was jumping knowing we were heading for Barcelona where won our only European trophy.

Shanksi, a bit before my time, but at Ibrox I can't think of a better night than beating Parma 2-0 in Champs League qualifiers in 1999, Vidmar and Reyna scoring, Buffon was in goals. We have played so many bigger teams but, personally, that night the whole stadium was shaking from 1st whistle to last. Brilliant memories of losing my voice. ?

Wsl was in the enclosure at the Main Stand, and when the second went in, I think I ended up about 15 feet nearer the park.

Remember it like it was yesterday. Who is 'Parlane'? We asked. Bud Johnston ripping the stuffing out of the German international team's defence, going home hoarse, and stopping the bus on the way, looking over to Parkhead, listening to their penalty shootout on the bus radio.

The Mo Edu 1-0 game was scored late on, and I am sure they missed a pen before that. Just the last couple of mins was unbelievable, and got to witness it with my dad.

My old man and his 5 mates drove from Dumfries to Barcelona in a Ford Consul, camped overnight in fields along the journey. They got pissed on cheap Spanish beer on the day of the final and missed the game as one of them managed to lose his ticket, only for it to be found the following morning in the Y of his Y fronts where he'd put it for safe keeping.

Shanksi, I was under the roof opposite the enclosure, it was so packed that if you put your hands in your pocket you couldn't get them out again. Remember well Sandy's early goal and Parlane's volley for the second, wee Bud sitting on the ball and big Steiny running the Germans ragged.
Then it was a walk down to Govan for the bus, with a stop off to watch Celtic's penalty shoot out against Inter and Dean's moon shot penalty through a chip shop window. What a night.

Unbelievable to think a crowd of 90,000 in Ibrox could get out for a half-time pie and Bovril.
