Is it right that whoever wins this year's league goes right into the champ league, no playoff ect. If that's the case our owners should really push the boat out and give DR the resources he needs to give us the best chance of finishing first.

No, only Rangers would make it in via co efficient table. Both Celtic and Hearts would need to qualify.

We would only go straight in:
1. if we win the league
2. if the ECL winner this year has already qualified through their league position in their country
3. we are the highest coefficient league winner with the best coefficient in the champions path who haven't already got straight into the group stage.
I think that was us this year but might not be next year as a few teams have improved their coefficient whilst we have lost ours.

Very likely the cl winners will qualify Angus, it's a very high percentage Rangers would go straight in if we will the league.

Star Copenhagen are the team who are left in who can get past our total. Olympiacos were closest but like us they are out of Europe so can't add to it. Copenhagen 4 points behind. they get points for win/draw and points for making play offs and for every round after. it is a stretch but they can do it.
