I'm a glass half full kinda guy. That second half yesterday with 10 men gave me a lot of hope that Danny Rohl is the guy to take us forward. Don't understand the hate Butland is getting he was brilliant yesterday not his fault John Souttar got in his line of sight for thier second anyone wanting rid of him is just being stupid.
Yes we need better players. Martin and Thelwell have totally ruined this club but we can't fault the guys who played in the second half. If Rohl can get that out of them then he will do just fine when better players in the door. Onwards and upwards.

100% agree dizzee, easy to get carried away when the result goes against you but lots of reasons to be positive considering where we were a couple of weeks ago.

If it wasn't for Butland yesterday it would have been a massacre. He was our best player again. Could he have done better with 2nd probably aye but as I said he kept us in it.

We've just lost in a national semi final AGAIN to 1 of the worst celic teams in years. Positives are Rohl and he needs massive luck with signings over the next 2 windows to make us strong enough to mount a challenge next season unfortunately our squad ain't good enough to go on q sustained run this season and imo only have the Scottish cup as a realistic target to go for.
Including loans and ooc players i'd argue only cornelious and Gassama are good enough to take us forward although both have question marks so thanks Kevin and Dan yous wasted what money we did have and will prob need to sell a Raskin and dio to fund another rebuild by the same men.

In January we defintely need a new CB (need rid of Djiga and Souttar, both are no where near good enough for a successful trophy winning squad).
And then we also need a proven striker.
Only players that are really a must keep/play are Butland, Cornelious, Barron, Raskin and then Curtis and Cameron need to play more
The rest I have almost no faith in, even Gassama has seemingly fell off.

I'd try and punt Chermiti. If he was worth 10M with no senior goals in 2 years, just think what he will be worth now that he has scored one.
EA are already working on the 'Emu' animation for his goal celebration.
Should be able to turn a wee profit in January, right?
