For me, one of the immediate priorities for the new manager would be to tie up Raskin on a longer deal and agree terms on a release clause which benefits both parties. Then make him captain, and play him in the correct position.

Mark i believe raskin and dio have started more than any other midfielder so not sure saying he couldn't get a game is entirely true.

Asa this whole leadership group idea is just nonsense! I could understand it, if the players on the group were elite players and role models but that's just not the case at our club.
We should have a team captain and club captain and that's it. Get back to basics.
The fact that someone like Dowell is on the committee and he isn't good enough to play matches just highlights the fact.

Thats not the coaches job though. he can recommend but its not his decision or responsibility formulating contracts.

There should n or be a leadership group there should be a captain, Tav, and vice captain, raskin, that's it. There shouldn't be groups only one group yhe team.

The club need to sort out Raskin's situation, got a feeling he will shine at the World Cup and be worth a pretty penny if he, s to go, can't have another Hamza farce.
