EHL (sorry I've lost the post I meant to reply to) can you please elaborate on the nsiala situation if possible? I really like him and think if he toughens up/ adapts to the physical demand of being a CB in Scotland he could be a really good player for us.
Does he want to leave or is he deemed not good enough to push for a start? There seems to be be various rumours circulating about him being told to leave etc (which I doubt and struggle to understand) .
Understand of course it you can't comment.

No worries, it's pretty straightforward.
He wants to start and Martin plans to bring in an experienced head for that position - so they agreed that going on loan would be the best option.

Nsiala is not good enough to be our starting CB.

So it's a loan, great hearing that EHL, really believe Nsiala could make it mate.

Thats good news if its just a loan . I think that Nsiala has the makings of a good defender and wouldn't like us just to get to rid of him permanently.

Cheers EHL, very glad to hear that it's only a loan and hopefully we'll have a much improved player coming back to us afterwards.

Nsiala has only played a handful of games, I've not really seen enough of him to judge whethter he is good enough or not. I sometimes wonder if a players name makes him sound like a better player than he actualy is to us supports. If John Souter was Jan De Souter the dutch large headed prodigy he would be worth twice as much, lol.

Glad it's a loan. I think it be a massive mistake selling him. Really big one. Loan is perhaps best for all.

Personally I'd start Nsiala at LCB as I really rate him.
There are a few club interested, some really good clubs to - so although the plan is to loan, it may end up a permanent move.
Good on the lad though, nice to see players who are motivated to play and not just collect a wage.

EHL. Can you comment on how Fernandeze compares to Nsiala? Sounds to me Nsiala may be more game ready then Fernandeze is.
Ta.

I like Nsiala, I think he needs to toughen up physically but that can definitely be done. Good passer of the ball and left sided.
I hope it doesn't end up perm.

Bullied by st mirren and kilmarnock strikers last year, a decent player on the ball who could do well in other countries but not strong or good enough for us in my opinion.

Broste, Nsiala and Fernandez are two completely different centre halves - so it's difficult to compare them.
I actually think they'd compliment each other really well in a partnership.
Nsiala is better at reading the game and with the ball at his feet and Fernandez is better in physical battles.

Absolutely spot on EHL on your description of both our centre halfs nsiala and fernandez ?.
13 Jul 2025 16:21:06
I think he would be better as a CDM like the role lundstrum played for us.
13 Jul 2025 16:27:24
We could regret this big time. It's a shame really, youngsters are berated if they make a mistake, it's why very few get the chance to progress.
13 Jul 2025 16:32:44
Nsiala better going out on loan and i think he has a big future and left sided centre halfs very hard to come by ?.
13 Jul 2025 16:43:06
Nsiala is definitely good enough to start LCB.
For me RM wants experience over this fact as that is essential with this younger squad. Where better than at the back for this one of experience, which for me will be Coady.

Really rate nsiala frustrated at this one.
