I'm lucky enough to spend a lot of time in North Yorkshire, in particular Harrogate.
I do a lot of work in and around the area. I know many Leeds fans and have had hospitality at Elland Road via work contacts.

I'm a Leeds fan as well. Not one I'm overly impressed with due to him getting on in age and will be on a fair wage very good technically though and his ball winning / retention is also good. If we sign Coady I hope after that it's young promising players with potential as I'm really skeptical of the English route again. Personally would love us to be targeting Scandinavia ect. That lot have just got a bargin deal on nygren as shown these leagues have some really good players for very little money.

Sam I'm not a Leeds fan. I've just watched them a handful of times over the last 18 months. I think he's a tidy footballer. We cannot have a team of inexperienced 22-23 yr olds, we need some experienced seasoned pros in and around the 1st team group. Opinions will vary … I've no clue what his salary is so I won't make assumptions but if were to believe we have a structure now as long as he's inside that I don't have an issue. I'd also add the new owners have saw him a lot and Martin knows him well so he's one they want. Good luck to him.

Different types of players Lambert, Cantwell is more of a forward thinking player, Rothwell more of an 8 he's box to box player, wait and see what he does, personally believe a very good signing for Rangers.

My star I was told it was 30k a week he was on as I know in January Bournemouth quoted Leeds in excess of 5 million. I really hope we pay no where near that fee but I shouldn't imagine so with a year left in his deal.

Im not being funny but any player we sign from england there fans think they are a great signing for us because well they think our league is levels below anything in england and any championship prem or league one player will walk it up here but that's not the reality of it at all the pressure up here is like nowhere else in britain or most of the world tbh we've seen far bigger players than the ones we've signed so far crumble up here.

I'd say rothwell was a 6 my star very defensive however that could change here and in his last spell under Martin seemed to be his most productive in terms of goals.

My star he plays deep mostly just like he did at Blackburn. Having seen him in person a good few times last season he was the deepest playing midfielder in the 3 pivot Leeds played even apadu and gruive and guilviogi played higher than him 3 natural defensive players when I watched Leeds.

Sam, Like you I've seen him play plenty he's not a number 6 yes he can play there but he's a number 8, a typical box to box player.
