1st time poster here but an avid reader of the site just never took the time to post
EHL quite enjoy your input mate clearly very knowledgeable guy in and around the game I wanted to ask You about Jefte I feel he has great pace over the first 5-10 yards but rarely takes a man on to get to the byline and cross it's so frustrating I'm in no way an expert but I just feel we need guys capable of contributing in these areas from these positions BB had his flaws defensively but what a delivery!
Seen a comment from earlier that none of our players are worth 20 million I have to agree I reckon Raskin is our most valuable asset probs 15 tops we could get only my opinion
Igamane is so frustrating in the final 3rd at times for mate takes the wrong decision a lot of the time for me hopefully a new manager and investor's can get us bk on top we so badly need and want a real Rangers team on the park.

I really like Jefte, however he can't play on the systems that BF has been trying to implement And he doesn't have a good support network around him on the pitch to help him - so he ends up looking lost.
In a 4-3-3 where he's predominantly attacking and he has a winger to link with he's got lots of potential.

I think most of the forward players are very poor in the final third.

Penrith, it's definitely not his strength, just like it's not Tavs or Bornas.
Like most players he needs to play on a system that plays to his strengths.
We'd have been better playing Nsiala as a LB today.

The way we normally play we want a full back who can attack as well which is why Tav suited us for so long. we need the FB to defend to an extent but to have a system which allows them to get forward to help beat the low block.

Defending isn't his strength. Attacking isn't his strength. Tackling isn't his strenght. Crossing isn't his strength.
He needs moved on pronto. You could see all his faults in pre season. Absolute abomination of a signing.

EHL. Sorry but Jefte is a really poor player. I can count on one hand when he has performed well. He can't defend, He can't cross and his positional sense is very poor. We need to move him and Yilmaz on and replace with much better.

Sorry EHL you are waaaay off with this one. He is a left back, the duties are very simple in any system. And he can't carry those out. Useless going forward and useless defending.
If you go to the games you can see he does his utmost not to get the ball. Constantly hiding.
At one point during the first half he did a half hearted overlap and ran off the pitch making it impossible to receive the ball. That's what you get from this lad.
He might be a decent player (I think he is) but Ibrox and Rangers is too big for him. He had ability but no heart.

I just feel like with Jefte he isn't really contributing going forward then we look at him defensively and he has been at fault for quite a few over the season I know he's still a young man I would like to see improvement with his delivery/ decision making in the final 3rd
Also think that was arguably Cernys worst performance for us.

I find the Jefte situation quite bizarre.
During the first half of the season I was critical of his final ball and loads of posters stuck up for him and had a pop at me for criticising him.
Now he's become the pantomime villain.
Play to his strengths and he's an asset - don't and he's a liability.

Jefte is only 21, if he was Scottish I don't think he would get the same comments.
I would be keeping Jefte and I think he will only improve.

An absolute abomination of a signing ? he's 21 years old has plenty of time to develop and has played 50 times this season remaining injury free. Like i've said many times before if jefte was a product of the youth academy playing his first season at 20/ 21 everyone would be excited by him. Some people can see he's got potential, others can't look past his faults at the moment which is fair enough but an abomination of a signing is way way wide of the mark - silly statement.

What strengths? Can't defend, can't cross, can't pass.
His strength is not tracking his runner and switching off at the back post. 2 traits I'd quite like our full backs to rectify.

Jefte is a scare that can't defend and that's bad enough for a left back. He gives away possession persistently and his ventures forward are fruitless. His crosses and by-line cutbacks are terrible. We need better ?.

I'm not hating on Jefte guys he still has time he's a kid but I'd be punting Ridvan and signing the lad penrice from hearts with jefte as bk up I do believe the wee man can improve just frustrating after today I suppose onwards and upwards people.

Guys jefte was brought here to be an understudy and has been thrown right in at the deep-end, in a new country, new club, new language. I think the demands of the club, standard of opposition has taken him by surprise and confidence is very low just now. He has all the attributes but doesn't use them to his advantage. There's massive room for improvement, but i think with the right manager and after a season settling in we will see the best of the boy. Just my opinion.
