Loads of different opinions going around now regarding Beale, should he stay or should he go. Some people calling out that he can’t be responsible for the PSV result or that we were unlucky against the other team.

Bottom line, Gio got us to within a penalty kick of a European trophy and beat PSV to get us to the champions league (beating that far superior team PSV) and was still sacked.

Beale has completely failed at every hurdle and has now signed some absolute hopeless players. I stay by Dessers being the worst centre forward I’ve seen in my life time (I’m 48 years old) .

In my opinion (and I respect every opinion on here) he has to leave now.

We must get the next appointment correct as this is not sustainable.

Unfortunately it’s the timing of the season and the fact he’s signed so many players that’ll keep him in a job. He’s only 1 bad result away from being sacked which we all know that in terms of the league or the cup it will be 1 too many but that’s probably what’s going to happen. Any new manager coming in will realistically want to bring in his own players and if he saw that he’d get 4 league games with those players before being sacked then it may put them off.

The problem is Gio won some big games, like you say a penalty away from a European cup, beat Celtic in a semifinal and won the Scottish cup. He also took a few absolute doings off Celtic and was struggling to beat other teams in the league consistently. Beale came in and steadied the ship. Stopped the doings off Celtic even beating them In a ‘dead rubber’, started consistently getting the wins against the teams we should be beating, but losing all and any big game.

Dessers will NEVER EVER do in a Rangers jersey am really sorry to say we have wasted good money on this lad - we seem over the years to buy too many pig in the pokes and have concerns how our scouting actually comes up with these guys - if we buy new we must replace those outgoing for a better version and unfortunately this has not happened with good few of our signings - Colak like him or not for whatever reason gave us goals - we never replaced these goals which should have been priority! I hear all the stories about petulance and feigning injury but we took goals from our team - Replace him with better and I would have been happy - this has not happened!

Dado iv seen much much MUCH worse striker in my lifetime than Dessers. Kevin Kyle springs to mind straight away, Sandaza another.

It’s been sad reading some of the posts the last few days. Yes results and performances not where we want them to be however some things need to looked at more closely. Already in the stands on Sunday before the game kicked off I hear people wanting Beale out. Now I am not saying he is the best person for the job but he has the job so why not get behind him instead? Too many fans want people to fail without getting behind them. Same goes for the players. People are saying Dessers is the worst player blah blah, but please think back to mark hateley and his first 10-15 games. Dessers might not score at the minute but he is by far the best striker we have had that can play other players in on goal. Pass to Matondo v PSV, pass to Matondo in the first minute Sunday. The pass to Roofe for the chalked off goal. Think about your own position at work, how would you feel coming into your workspace and people booing at you or telling you are rubbish at every turn you make.

It’s time to get behind the manager and the players that are in the building and start again. Changing players or manager every window will not help us, confidence will.

Before people attack and say Beale has lost all the big games etc jog your minds back to defeats in years gone by. It’s not easy to accept I know but one thing is we don’t give up. It’s now the players need the fans the same way as nights against Leipzig, Dortmund etc.

Hateley had a slow start to his Rangers career but was still scoring goals, his problem was that he was replacing either Super Ally or Mojo and the fans didn`t like it. To even mention Dessers in the same sentence as Hateley is a joke. He couldn`t lace Hateleys boots. to be fair to the guy, Beale is killing his Rangers career by continuing to play him even when he is so obviously struggling . They can`t understand why he continues to get a start when Danilo is sitting watching and they take it out on the player rather than the manager who seems determined to show he knows more than everybody else.

I agree totally in the know … people are so fickle. Sunday was a shock but I seriously think the weds took so much out of us physically and mentally. We looked shattered in the second half on Sunday . Tav easily the worst game I seen him play . He was dead on his feet .

IMO, we need to get fully behind michael beale and our club and see where we are come christmas and before the transfer window opens in january ?Think of this guys, results will determine anyway if beale can survive beyond christmas and what will be will be, but for here and now let's get fully behind our club ?.

However, we made it there with a squad of players GVB inherited. So you need to give some credit to Gerrard and Beale for putting that team together.

While Rangers did well in Europe under GVB we were well short domestically. Celtic were running over the top of us in the league and we were on the wrong end of a 4-0 Old Firm pumping more than once. Many Rangers fans maintained the first priority was the league. Many fans would still tell you the priority is the league despite the riches and rewards of European football.
