I think tillman is a better player than hagi and I also think he is a lot faster than people seem to think with the rite attitude and coaching I believe he could make it to the top of football I rate him that highly.

I think Leon King proved last night that we do not need a defender. Give the boy a chance from the bench this season and he could be competing for a 1st team place by next season. We need to properly start reaping the benefits of the Academy at some point. On the last day of the window I’m happy to go with King at the back than sign another Simpson, Zukowski or Katic.

Remember it is not that long to shut down for world cup if we are looking at anyone with a year on Thier deal it could make more business sense to wait till January to sign on a precontract and offer less to get them in after agreed to join us. We have more than enough to see us through till then.

I'm hoping we add 1, maybe 2, real quality players who will instantly enhance our starting 11. To do this, I think we have to move some on, as the squad is too big just now. Katic, Sakala, zukowski and Kelly are 4 definites I would like to see go in order to get 2 new in. And then, there is Roofe. A mate of mine calls Roofe Kaiser Souzai from the film the usual suspects. People know he exists, but never see him. A tremendous player when fit, but he never is. If we got rid of those 5, what are we talking in transfer money? 5-6m? I don't know why some folk are so focused on these contract situations. We have a player trading model that is operating and bearing fruit. Not every signing we make will sell for higher than our purchase. Its far more important these players bring us success. £40mil for champions league dwarfs our highest transfer sale. Leave the business to Paul Wilson, he knows what he's doing and enjoy the football, transfer rumours and banter rather than hounding these guys out the door a full year before their contract ends.

I don't agree that just cause we sign guys for nothing it's ok to let them go for nothing kinda makes a mockery of said business model if Kent doesn't want to sign before champions league I'd drop him and Alfie and go sign someone that's commited. Kent is not irreplaceable scored 3 goals last year or something and that for a rangers forward is a pitifull return. I know John is trying to get at nobody is bigger than club but we are still a business and should act accordingly. The only issue in my eyes would be would Kent and Morelos leave or wait if they were not to get in squad. The only thing I notice to much in each game is we try score fancy goals we try walk it in the net. a touch extra when not needed or we cross or pass to someone else when we could get a shot away. We need someone who’s not scared to should outside the box who was the last striker we had who wasn’t scared to shoot from anywhere and most of the time scored or got a corner from it? We’re trying to play fancy extra touch here and there when not needed and walk it in the net we’re not Man City or Barcelona. Like now if they mark bb and tav out the game we’re screwed because ever game give them the ball and whip it in. Next season we definitely need a different approach to the game. People will disagree with what Iv said which is fine but it’s how I feel when I watch the games.

TB85 I get that I know how it works, look at last season we had 2 draws and an old firm loss and ultimately lost the league because we never strengthened the squad. Until last few days when we got two loans in the manager never looked like he wanted. We have scraped by games since beale has come in and that’s credit to him the amount of times we seem to get a reaction from losing positions. But we need strengthened, our policy is free transfers and no doubt we’re haggling over fee to bring in early, but if a player is interested and has been spoken too, like the manager has stated it would have been agreed on personal terms with agent also.

I think a good keeper who demands his area who comes out for the ball I think John does it and Allan doesn’t but Allan good with his feet and John a bomb scare when the balls at his feet. I’d give Robbie a go in goal he did well against Celtic that’s my opinion.
