That’s pretty misleading mate, this takes into account the C.V. period where our loses we’re substantial. I believe the directors turned they’re soft loans into shares. It probably explains why the Patterson and Gerrard money wasn’t spent. Now we have both the Europa cup run money, the champions league money and the Bassey, Aribo and now Gilmour money. We’re in a very strong financial position and there won’t be any issues going forward. A lot of clubs were in trouble during the C.V. and is good to see UEFA taking a pragmatic view to the situation.

Im guessing but prob just boils down to what Rangers as an employer have in their employment terms and conditions. I know my own TnCs I can be off for up to 18 months with a gradual reduction in pay then it gets to the point of parting company. I would like to think Rangers as a compassionate employer who will look after a seriously ill player till the end of their contract unless it mutually beneficial to terminate earlier either way we must follow contractual and employment law or we will find ourselves in court.

Really sad post the player has a life threatening sickness we signed him and he has a contract and as John said we as an employer have a duty of care to him, are you saying we should just boot him out? I'm only aware of one scottish team that has. Teams were allowed to sign players from Russian teams under an emergency rule brought in by FIFA. They are temporary loans and the players are to return in a year. Celtic are the only team I have seen that paid money to a Russian club.
Far from being embarrassed I am disgusted at any organisation that breaches sanctions against Russia.

Cheers, no doubt snell is one of the few calling for Gio to be sacked, ludicrous in my view. I will continue to support my team. Saturday although painful is in the past, our squad can't change until January and the most important game is always the next one. That is what I will concentrate on. As for his comment about the sports minister laughing at my comment and throwing it in the bin I've had an acknowledgement that my email has been received and I'll get a full response within two weeks.

Couldn't agree more DK19. These so called supporters want tens of millions spent on players every window. Do they so easily forget where we were 10 years ago.
Rangers have to at least break even this season or face sanctions.
We are on the uefa financial fair play watch list.
I've only been on these sites for about a month but thinking of not coming back.
The negativity to our own club is sickening.
