I have heard that there is a strong possibility that we will sign Lewis Ferguson in January, initial 6 month with obligation to buy in the summer, part of the fee will be paid as a loan fee in January.

As tedious as this is, wouldn't a perfect resolution be we sell Raskin and buy Ferguson. Given one wants to go and presumably, the other is open to coming. Raskin has been excellent recently but I think Ferguson would be a considerable upgrade.

Come next summer he'll have a year left on his deal with an option of a year's extension so I don't think that the numbers quoted will be as high as they were this summer and given that Lewis wants the move and that he is down the pecking order at Bologna, he's less likely to sign a new deal so it makes sense for all parties if a deal can be done. Derek and Lewis want this to happen.
