Any news on a CB atall?
I feel we might bring in an experienced free agent aftet window closed today.
Always move Nsiala Souttar onto countroothat aren't closed yet
Anyone any credible knowledge on CB situation.

Diogo Leite and Mitchell Bakker, I would sign both as we don't know how Rommens injury is and we've only got 1 natural left back, also we don't have left sided centre back two free transfers.
Bakker, obvs coming back from injury, but I would take the chance on him as he could make us some money in the future if we can get him fit and playing well. Both got bags of experience.

I think we have what the club are happy with and we won't be buying any free agents. The same conversation happens every year as fans are never happy with transfers even though we signed 14. Also fans not happy with Fernandes, so think we need one to replace him when we don't.
Following the Rommens logic we would need 3 players for every position. Sterling covered LB this season already, so we are covered.

I don't know a lot about those 2 players, Wallace. I know of Leite, but I would be a liar if I said anything more than that.
I'd like Smalling, but happy as long as we bring another in.

Why would fans be happy with Fernandez at this current time, he is out of form for whatever reason happens to all players at some stage.
But at present he should be removed from team before it gets worse. He has to accept responsibility for errors as first thing he does is look around to blame someone else.

That's the worst of it for me mate, players make mistakes, but when a player makes the same mistakes frequently and looks for someone else to blame, is my pet hate. 👍

Jasp, did he not hold his hand up & apologise for the terrible pass at Falkirk? He did. Other than the pass, he didn't do anything else wrong that game, & the pass wasn't completely his fault as no one gave him an option to pass to.
I don't think our defence is the problem, it's more the fact that the 2 CDMs don't seem to help defensively, always too far away or want to receive the ball off them or help going forward. Midfield seems invisible most of the time.

Some go on about this Celtic squad, I'm telling you right now, if we had their CBs this site would have a meltdown, I'm very happy with our CBs.

Even if Manny comes good, we still only have 3 CBs available, with Souttar and Nsiala unwanted. Please don't seriously include Sterling and McCrorie as options for there. Got dumped out Europa having to resort to that.

But last year people were shouting for Sterling when they weren't happy with Tav and Souttar. Does the agenda matter as to whether a player is good or not? As people say, we are only in the SPL and not Europe, so 3 starters should be enough, and if one gets injured then the other 2 can play there.
Club seem to think it is enough. 🤷

It will be interesting to see what happens with Souttar if he doesn't leave, which seems very likely. Is there any way back into the squad for him, or has he done something so bad that we just want him gone. I saw talk of freeing him, which I find incredible, although I'm not itk about anything, unlike some others.

Where does this idea of an agenda come from? Of what possible personal benefit does it do if we rate some players but not others? Cb is an important specialist position that should have specialist cover, not just someone who fills in just to do a job, that's all.
Neither Sterling nor McCrorie has done particularly well when asked to play that role either, and even Tav was used there ahead of Sterling last year.
