Just read that rumour on Kelsy hold up is because sent for medical to place that didn't actually do medicals, backup option also off cards as it was closed for weekend.

Unsure how true this is, so pinch of salt required.

I know the club seems inept at the moment, but do you believe we sent a £10M signing to the wrong facility?

Good rumour Tbal. Wouldn't dismiss it out of hand to honest. Talking about this with mates, and can't believe the amount of 20 -22 year olds we have brought in. Dm commented on it himself when he said, "We looked young."

Replied to wrong post, was meant for Orangeman lol.

If true, tells us a lot about standards and capabilities across the club.

How difficult is it to get the correct place? Again, it may not be true but would explain why it's gone quiet. Once the window closes, AC needs to have a review of the window and why mistakes have been made, why it takes us so long to finalise deals and bring in players.

Something there has to change, well in advance of next window. If this signing falls through, I don't think we will see a replacement sign in time for deadline day as takes us too long.

From what I am hearing, the Kelsy deal is delayed due to Visa issues.

Yeah, that is right. We just tell a player to go to a medical centre and ask if they do medicals. Was it A & E, because that is the only place where you can turn up without an appointment in any country I have visited (and that is a lot). So, do you not think we would have booked an appointment, at which point they would say what for, and then, oh, we don't do that type of medical when we said what it was for.

I imagine we will use the same UK centre we always use in Manchester, as we have a relationship of trust with them. So, if that is the case, then he can't have a medical until he gets his visa allowing him entry into UK.

Jesus wept.

I am pretty sure if they were going to do a medical in US, we would know who to use, seen as our owners are the 49ers, and I am pretty sure they do medicals in American football.

Honestly?

We are talking about the #1 country in the world for sports science and medical care. I'm all for a good rumour, but that sounds pretty weak.

Visas usually take a long time and I'm sure Rangers are expediting the part of that process that we control as fast as we can.
