Sorry, £2 million sign on fee and 30k a week for a player past his best on the downward is the reason we were in trouble when Clement had to cut so many payers, with the sign on fee over 3 years that's 42k a week. I just don't think he's worth it.

Rfc, while I agree the 42 k would be too high as a wage. We won't get a quality experienced cb for less than the 30k a week, mate. What he, or someone of the same standard and credentials, would bring to the defence is invaluable.
The signing in fee is no different to a small fee.
If we had to pay £2m for him it would be worth it, so that's why u have to pay the signing in fees now for a bosman.
