Robert, I agree in regards last season, it was crazy to have 4 of our back line on loan with only 1 having an option to buy (which we decided against). Not so stressed about it this time, as Penrice and the Serbian (I'll learn how to spell his name later) can basically both become permanent if we want, so this time the decision is ours and we have basically done the deals this way so that we spread the costs into the following years' accounts rather than this year's, allowing us more room financially to spend on others just now.

Penrice has option of £1.5m to make permanent, New LB obligation to buy if certain realistic terms are met, and Godfrey has £4m option, so much better position this time as a club.

Can't keep changing our defence or our team or our managers every season. 2 or 3 out for good money and 2 or 3 in to uplift the quality. Hopefully we are heading that direction now. 🙏🏼
